    I was in need of electrical services last year (to replace an electric panel). My boyfriend and I purchased the panel box and fuses thinking we were going to switch out the unit ourselves. What were we thinking? This is in an old house and the current panel was a spiderweb of wires and screw-in fuses. I found Jeff and Bayton Electric thru an internet search, called him, and he promptly gave me a date when it would be convenient to us for him to come out and assess the situation. After staring in amazement at the mess of wires, he gave me an estimate for replacement of fuse box (using the one we had purchased) and replacing a meter (there were 2 at the time) and wires outside. Naturally I was holding my breath for this pronouncement, but the quote was way below what I was expecting. What a pleasure it was to do business with Jeff. Not only did everything get replaced, while we were waiting for the inspector to come out to give the final approval, Jeff had some major personal issues going on in the interim. He made sure to stay in touch with us throughout his personal issues until the inspector was able to come to the house. Would I recommend Jeff and Bayton Electric? Most assuredly YES!!

    We use Bayton Electrical for all our electrical needs. They installed a wall mounted TV in our waiting room, replaced all the outlets and switches in our exam rooms and even troubleshooted some problems we had. They are very professional. prompt and has reasonable pricing. We will continue to use them for all our electrical needs. I highly recommend Bayton Electrical Contracting.

    I recently contracted with Bayton Electrical Contracting / Jeff Bayton for the installation of a 54" television to be mounted with articulating arm in our Mt. Lebanon home, installation of remote components (located in a different room and out of sight) as well as the snaking of all A/V wires to the remote components. Jeff was very prompt and stayed within the reasonable quote originally provided and we are very happy with the end result. While it is very easy to judge the quality of work and professionalism of a contractor when all things run smoothly, it is more of an accurate representation of the quality and character of a person/company of how they perform when things do not go as planned. After the installation of the TV and components were in place, there were technical problems with the IR receiver in that it was not transmitting properly to the remote components. Not only did Jeff bring this to my attention immediately, but he was dedicated to the job to the point where he not only found a temporary replacement from a local store (not wanting us to be without television until a properly functioning transmitter could be shipped in), but did so on the same day and spent multiple hours into the night ensuring that we had functionality of the TV until the new part could be received. Jeff had stayed in constant contact over the next few days, and upon receiving the replacement IR device, was back at the house to complete the installation in a timely manner. Since this completed job, Jeff has also been assisting us with present unfortunate issues with another general contractor at our home, with whom we've had to deal with extremely poor quality issues. He has been working with us as an advisor, and has spent many hours at our home helping us with the problems that should have been taken care of with the other contractor. I must say that in my dealings with Jeff Bayton / Bayton Electrical Contracting to date, he has demonstrated and great level of integrity, honesty and dedication to both his craft and to his customers.
