Traditional Kitchen
This is a traditional kitchen remodel in Los Angeles.
New kitchen cabinets, new appliances, new counter-tops, new lighting, tile back-splash, tile flooring, and new paint.
Simple Bathroom Remodel
This is a very affordable bathroom remodel that made a huge impact on the space. We installed a very inexpensive tile floor, a shower kit instead of tile (also to save on cost), a standard framed shower door, a very basic custom vanity and counter-top, simple elegant lighting, a new mirror without a frame, new basic molding on the floor only, and put a nice touch of color with paint on the walls.
Bold Bathroom Remodel
Sometime's going bold with colors and fixtures can make a really great impact in a small space. We installed very detailed tile work on the walls and floor, custom framed mirror and vanity with granite counter-top, new fixtures, new freestanding tub, and put a really bold wall color to really bring this bathroom together.
Modern Kitchen
This kitchen remodel is about simple clean lines. We installed new hardwood flooring, custom cabinetry, granite counter-tops, new appliances, subway tile back-splash, new lighting, and a hint of color on the walls to create a nice contrast.
Custom Cabintry
Storage space is a necessity in a home. We installed custom cabinetry to make better use of an open space in this home.
Family Room Remodel
A family room should be a cozy inviting space that you and your family can relax in. In this family room we updated an existing fireplace and installed a new mantle, created a more arched look in the door ways, installed new recess lighting, crown molding, hardwood flooring, new windows, and nice touch of color on the walls.
Bedroom and Small Bathroom
We updated the bathroom with new paint, fixtures, vanity, counter-top and tile flooring. In the bedroom, we installed new carpet, windows, lighting, fan, crown molding, and fresh paint.
Luxury Kitchen
We wanted to create a luxury kitchen that was still inviting. We installed marble flooring, custom cabinetry, granite counter-tops, high end appliances, custom pantry door with etched glass, crown molding, special recessed ceiling, new lighting, tile back-splash, and fresh paint.
Small Modern Kitchen
Small kitchen's can be made to feel more roomy with the right use of space. We installed very light hardwood floors to make the room feel more open, and a lighter color on the walls to achieve the same effect, new lighting, crown molding, we installed simple appliances, custom cabinetry in dark wood to create a nice contrast and 2 new windows to make the room feel open and bright.
Modern White Kitchen
We installed new cabinetry with some glass panel doors to create a more modern twist. This job had a very strict budget so the cabinetry is very basic, simple blask subway style tiles for the back-splach, very simple appliances, new granite counter-top, new windows, and very simple white paint.

My project isn't finished yet (expected to wrap up next week), but I'm moved to give this company a glowing review for their work on my condo ahead of time. I don't expect anything to change at this point since we've been through many unexpected challenges with my project and their team has outperformed my expectations every time. First off, Tom is not an email sort of guy so if your favorite form of communications is emailing, write Tina instead. That said, Tom answered every of my phone calls and is great at what he does, which was coordinating and leading my remodel to completion. He has fulfilled every promise he made to me so far. Despite my living in Orange County and my daughter's condo being in L.A., besides a quick trip to check out the improvements weekly, I've never had to push or complain to get results. Unfortunately, my project ended up being delayed by a month due to unforeseen circumstances. I almost got embroiled in a dispute with the condo's Association over plumbing issues that had threatened to derail my kitchen and bath remodeling. I'm so glad I've got CMS Builders and Restoration on my side because without their expertise, I wouldn't have the confidence to challenge the Association and get them to admit the faulty repipe they did some years ago was actually what made us fail inspection and not our remodeling at the condo. The City Inspector ended up forcing the Association to bring their plumbing up to code before allowing us to close the bathroom walls and proceed with our work. At this point, we're poised to install plumbing fixtures as soon as we hear from the City Inspector by day's end. I'm really happy that I chose CMS Builders and Restoration and not some fly-by-night companies who said they'd beat any quote. I've had my share of troubles with shoddy work by unlicensed contractors before, so I'm confident to say I've chosen well this time. I'm also happy about my decision not to parcel out the work separately to an electrician, a plumber, flooring installer, etc. in order to "save" money, but to allow a general contractor take care of the project from start to finish. Tom's subs are friendly, helpful and capable. They did top-notch work for me. I'm so proud of how my daughter's condo is shaping up. Whatever difference between Tom's quote and others I've been given was totally worth it. I must admit the cabinets and countertops at my daughter's condo are more beautiful and of a higher quality than what I have in my million-dollar home. I can say much more but to sum up, if you have a condo in L.A. that needs improvements, let CMS Builders and Restoration handle the job. They will get the necessary permits, have the job pass inspection, deal with the Association, and save you the headaches.
