From the perspective of an elderly couple, we offer our highest recommendation to Cavalier Builders for constructing a granny flat (Junior Accessory Dwelling Unit) in our house. First and foremost was that Cavalier Builders were trustworthy. Their pricing was fair, and they provided even more upgrades than agreed upon. While offering their expertise, they consulted with us about choices of building materials and incorporated our ideas into the project. Cavalier builders working crews were dependable, hard-working, polite, pleasant, and respectful of our time and privacy needs. Cavalier’s supervision of the workers was extraordinary. They checked every construction detail in person and by phone, so that we never worried about shoddy workmanship. As a final point, we were reassured by the builders’ understanding of our limitations and special needs as seniors. For example, the plumbers and electricians made it possible for us to carry on with our usual activities, such as laundry. All in all, the granny flat is charming and admired by all who see it, and we are thrilled to have the unit available for our needs.

I just worked with Sharon and Cavalier Builders on a full master bathroom remodel and they did a fantastic job! The bathroom came out more beautiful than I thought, and they worked efficiently like a machine to finish in 2 weeks! They arrived every morning at 7:30 a.m. sharp and Sharon was available almost 24/7 to help with design and materials questions. Fees and costs were very reasonable and no surprises. They did great work for my neighbor as well. Hands down best I’ve ever worked with! My contractor for life!

David and his team are phenomenal! David answers his phone, responds to texts, initiates contact, and his team shows up when he says they will. He explains the what, why and how of the work he recommends and is fair, patient, and kind. We hired Cavalier Builders to remodel our bathroom vanity. Sharon, the owners, was impressive right from the beginning! He responded very quickly to my inquiry and showed up on time for the first appointment to review the job. His bid came back quickly and we felt fairly; he kept to the bid during the whole remodel process (even when some unexpected plumbing issues arose on our end). He communicated daily who would be arriving for each stage of the project and at what time. His team always showed up on time, worked diligently, and didn't waste any time while on the job site. We were very impressed with how well they cleaned up each day before heading home. I also appreciated Sharon consulting all my design questions along the way to ensue the end result was what I wanted. We are so pleased with the work we plan to hire them for our kitchen remodel as well.

We had been saving up "small" projects for some time, and a couple ended up being not so small. We figured we finally had enough to attract a real contractor. We found Cavalier through Yelp and liked what we saw. They exceeded expectations. We were nervous about Covid, but they always showed up masked and cordoned off their work areas with plastic. Unlike other companies, they showed up on time as promised always. They were SO responsive and patient with my many changes, whether it was to do painted doors rather than get them pre-finished, or build custom cabinets in the bathroom rather than pre-fab. The cost was incredibly reasonable. They cleaned up every mess. They were quiet and respectful since we were stuck in the house due to self quarantine. They ended up doing everything from adding electricity and a light in our storage room to almost fully remodeling the bathroom. We added railings outside and replaced the front doors (much bigger job than expected - first time they've ever been done right) and even figured out a way to add more storage in the laundry room. Really - call them. You can't go wrong.

All I have to say is WOW!! David just finished working on my bathroom and I am so impressed by how smoothly the whole process went. I was not planning to remodel my bathroom but my shower pan broke so I had to immediately spring into action. I met with a few different contractors but I instantly trusted and liked David. I was on a serious budget and he worked with me to fit in that budget and still get me what I wanted. It was also SO fast. They started the project two days after I signed the contract and it was finished a week before they said it would be. This never happens. It was also so easy to get in touch with David throughout the entire process. He would return my calls and texts within 5 minutes which really contributed to me feeling involved in what was going on. I think the most important issue with a contractor is trust and I can wholeheartedly say that David is extremely trustworthy. My bathroom is now absolutely gorgeous and I am so happy with the work that Cavalier Builders did for me!

Cavalier Builders worked on our kitchen renovation and from the start to finish, from cabinets to the flooring, Sharon and his team did an amazing job. Eddie made certain the new tile flooring was not only installed aesthetically correct, he went so far as to re-lay pieces the next day that he didn’t “approve of.” Carlos took outdated cabinets and turned them into brand new. Re-working cabinets to accommodate a new built in fridge and microwave drawer. The guys showed up on time, every day and they all worked effortlessly towards the goal of transforming our kitchen into an updated, gorgeous space. We could not be more satisfied and will be using them again on our master bath renovation as well.

We just completed a remodel of three bathrooms and a kitchen with Cavalier Builders. This work took about 2.5 months. The timeline and the cost were right in line with the estimate Sharon gave us at the beginning of the process. We highly recommend them.

First, they are very professional, coming on time, coming every day, consistently respectful of our needs, as we lived in our home during this process. We saw the same guys every day and we felt very comfortable working with them. They are friendly, helpful, and they went above and beyond for us.

Second, Sharon is amazingly responsive and willing to answer all our questions and concerns promptly and and thoroughly. A process like this is bound to create questions and concerns. Sharon was always available and consistently provided helpful guidance and explanations. Also, he provided some guidance on a few of our aesthetic choices that were better than our choices and made the rooms more like what we were looking for than the would have if we were left on our own.

Third, Cavalier's workmanship is top notch. Everything was done how it should be and done in ways that will last.

Finally, in a big job like this there are bound to be some hiccups. Sharon was always willing to address them and fix them promptly. We knew that, in the end, the job would be done right. And, it was.

We recently used Cavalier Builders to remodel our garage. We had a door and window put in as well as insulation, drywall, electrical, and a loft storage area. I felt comfortable with David from the initial meeting. He is a very good listener, and immediately understood the type of remodel we wanted and offered better (both less expensive as well as more functional) ways of approaching the project. The workers were all friendly and polite. The work was done professionally, and within the time frame originally stated. I am absolutely going to use them for our next remodeling project.

I highly recommend Cavalier Builders, Inc. They just remodeled our kitchen while we remained living in our house. Cavalier’s crew removed the wall between the dining room and kitchen, took the floor down to the floor boards, re-arranged all the utilities/appliances, replaced/resized the window, installed a tankless water heater, installed new lighting, brought everything up to code, pulled all the permits and so much more. We now have a brand-new kitchen, pantry and dining room. David’s crew always showed up on time, were professional, and always left our home neat and livable. He always returned my messages quickly and always answered any questions we had during the construction process. Cavalier Builders finished the entire job on schedule without any problems or concerns. The best part was how nice David was along with his entire crew. The most recent project for which I hired Cavalier Builders was the third time I experienced working with the company and David Moshe. Given the wide range of projects - including seismic retrofit and roof replacement - they'd done for me, I can't imagine hiring another firm for anything I need done in the future. We recently had Cavalier remodel our guest bathroom. The project involved a total demolition and removal of existing fixtures, some reframing and just about all new everything. From our first contact Sharon Moshe (pronounced Sharone -- he's a dude) was professional, personable and interested in what we wanted to achieve. He understood the limited space in which we had to work and came up with a creative solution for a seemingly intractable problem. He helped us finalize the room design to fit our desired look and feel, worked with our suppliers where we had them and had his own suppliers when we didn't. Once the work began, his crew showed up on time, respected our space, asked questions rather than making assumptions and always cleaned up after themselves. I want to especially call out Eddie for special mention. He is a master craftsman whose meticulous attention to detail in the tile work (floor, counter and tub) resulted in a work of art. The project was finished in a timely manner and at reasonable cost. We are now about to remodel our master bathroom and will again engage Cavalier because I just can't imagine going through a project this with another contractor.

Cavalier Builders recently completed the renovation of our bathroom and they did an excellent job. Very professional, on schedule and at a reasonable cost. As an architect, I know what I want and Sharon and his team delivered. We will not hesitate to work with them again.

Sharon and his crew just finished remodeling my house, we did it in 2 phases 6 years apart..I'm not sure where to start after having read all the above excellent reviews, so I'll just want to agree that Sharon just knows his stuff !...His crew is just so skillful and methodical, they really make it look easy. .But its not! My bathrooms look so incredibly beautiful that I have to pinch myself to remind me that this is my house, it's really a dream come true to have such an awesome house thanks to Cavalier Builders! ..They really are a class act !

I wanted to give a big shout out to Cavalier Builders Inc. They recently remodeled one of our bathrooms. They made great recommendations and helped finalize the design, provided a very competitive quote, stuck to it, and completed the work on-time. They also employ very skilled craftsmen who you can trust in your home.

We hired Sharon to do a complete kitchen remodel after a water leak under sink. We are so happy with the work done. They have been very professional every step of the process. The crew worked hard each day and left the work areas clean each day. I would highly recommend Sharon and his crew !!

EXCELLENT job & remodel results. Beautiful & quality work/construction. No hidden costs! Honest, hard working crew that we trusted with our house keys and dog! We did not have to be present & the crew was almost like family by the time the job was done. Cavalier Builders and owner, David Moshe, were honest, fair, trustworthy, excellent communications & competitively priced. Remodel included: brand new Master Bathroom & Kitchen, new wood laminate flooring 2nd floor & stairs, & fresh paint of entire house including stair rails. David coordinated all trades including plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, tile, wood, demolition, etc. (no headaches/worries for us). David gave honest advice on quality/reliable reasonably priced items (fixtures, tub, sinks, garbage, disposal, paint, etc.) & where to purchase the best deals. Tile, flooring, countertop & cabinetry selection was EASY! We are not good at interior design & wood/tile stores can be overwhelming. He has flooring/tile/countertop distributors that he uses & went with us to select the items, giving honest, reasonable (esp. pricing) design advice. Construction took 3-4 months (like David quoted) & we had to live in the house during the process. It was not fun or comfortable, but the results were worth it. Cavalier knows what they are doing & there were no hidden costs or “oops” in the process. We would recommend Cavalier to anyone!

Very positive experience with Sharon and Cavalier Builders!! We waited 8 years to remodel thinking it would be impossible while living in our home. From the beginning, Sharon and his team were very considerate of our needs. They are very professional, experienced, quiet, and clean! We started with a plan to remodel our kitchen and bath but added a face lift for our living room and den. From the estimating phase, planning phase, shopping phase, implementation phase, and finished look phase - they were instrumental in making it happen. In addition to the basic remodel, they secured our foundation, fixed on going plumbing and electrical problems, and made our older home look young again. Everyone is impressed by their work and asking for their contact information!

This rating is just based on my preliminary interaction and first meeting with Sharon. I haven't yet hired anyone to do the job.

David and his crew have worked on several projects on our house. They do a great job and are always highly professional. They completed four small projects--including replacing an old back-splash in our kitchen as well as repairing our cracked patio concrete--in two days. A friend recommended them to us a few years ago and we've done the same for other friends since then. High recommended.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend David and his team to anyone looking for a remodel. Cavalier replaced our kitchen floor, countertops, and painted the cabinets and our whole condo. Pricing was reasonable and upfront and communication was good throughout the project. They rushed to get our bedrooms painted right before we moved in so we wouldn't be inconvenienced, and his team also worked on a holiday. Eddie and the guys didn't make a mess and were always considerate. Home remodeling can be very stressful and Cavalier made the whole process much easier than I thought it would be.

There's nothing fun about having a busted water pipe in the kitchen under your flooring! But David and his gang were professional and quick to find the problem and have it fixed in as short a time as possible. Since they were already working in the kitchen we decided to redo all our lighting and repaint. They were very neat and all the employees were extremely kind. My master bathroom remodel was recently completed by Cavalier Builders, and I am excited to say that they helped create my dream bathroom! David worked around our busy schedules to come to the house several times and discuss our large remodeling project and offered to return as we wished. He answered all of our many questions by text, email and telephone within minutes. He is very knowledgable about construction, permits, design and all else related to construction/remodeling and he came up with a detailed proposal. I hired Cavalier Bldrs several years ago to do some work in my condo. Sharon was awesome from Day 1. The team he sent to do the work was on time every day, cleaned up nicely at the end of the day, and actually worked a full day until the job was done. They were very professional. I am the President of our HOA. A few months ago, we began a project which entailed waterproofing the porches. When they were all done being waterproofed, we decided we wanted tile on the porches. I immediately called Sharon and had him give the Association an estimate. We hired them and they tiled all 9 of our porches for us which service 18 homeowners. Again, most professional, on time every day, worked a full day, and the porches turned out absolutely beautiful. These guys are exceptional at tile work. Wow! What a great experience. David and his team were true professionals from start to finish. This is the first kitchen remodel I've ever experienced and I had a lot of anxiety. From demo to final finishes every thing went smoothly and stayed on schedule. David came by each day to check on the work and make sure all was perfect. We just hired them for a second project. Hire Cavalier - you'll be thrilled with the process and results.

Overall, we are very happy that we chose Cavalier to renovate our 2 bathrooms. Sharon was our project manager and Eddie and Felix were the craftsmen who did most of the work. The two things we liked the most about our experience with Cavalier was 1: there was no hard sell by Sharon when giving us our quote. He listened to our needs and wants and suggested ways to save money. The quote was in line with the others but we felt more comfortable with Sharon as he wasn't just a salesman but the owner of the company. He checked in regularly and always responded to calls or texts in a timely manner. Second: there were no breaks in the work from day one until the end, about 4 weeks. Eddie and Felix worked 6 days a week and when plumbing or electrical needed to happen they worked along side each other. No waiting for each department to be available because they were on another job. Both Eddie and Felix were very professional and friendly, even our 15-month-old son formed a relationship with them during the time they were in our house. They did their best to clean at the end of each day and always fixed any mistakes or details that weren't to our liking. I would recommend Cavalier for any construction/renovation needs.

We had a great experience when we hired David Moshe from Cavalier Builders for a master room addition project! David was incredibly responsive throughout the process, from getting us a bid in a timely manner to responding quickly whenever we had questions during the construction. He came over to personally secure our house over a holiday weekend when we hit a patch of bad weather. We had Cavalier Builders replace the roof on my mother's house and it was a very good experience. The work was done quickly and efficiently, clean up was excellent, and all the paperwork was handled in a clear and upfront way. I was especially pleased at how careful Sharon Moshe was to loop me into the process to ensure that my mother really understood what was happening, when, and what the costs would be. I thought they handled small changes to the contract and the job in a very professional and fair way.
