    Home flood

Jim Abramson had me sign an AOB and then received a check for $25k. He has not completed any work and it's now been almost 4 months. He doesn't return calls or emails. He is in the Tampa area as President of 1800 Water Damage now on Cypress St.

    roof repair
Put a tarp up, took the money and left

In September 2014 Jim Abramson of Concierge Contractors inspected our damaged roof and put a tarp on it so that it would not get any worse. He took our check to begin the repairs but NEVER did anything. Every time we called there was new excuse as to why he hadn't started yet. The last call he answered we asked for a refund. Another excuse and then he wouldn't even answer. He took the money and was gone.

Terrible!! Disgusting!! Disappointing!! They were paid in full by our insurance after DELAYING the work so many times; & didn't pay their subcontractor. We ended up paying the subcontractor for 5000 because they placed a lien on our property. Concierge avoided/ignored our calls, emails, letters, etc. Now, they are nowhere to be located... BEWARE of this COMPANY!!!! CAN'T BE TRUSTED, EVER!!!

    bathroom repair
    $$5000
    90 days

I wouldn't give them even a single star but the site forced me to. They need to have a negative star. I'm in agreement with Delilah. They are now located in Cave Creek, Arizona. We had a bathroom leak in June, 2014 which was covered by insurance. Checks were signed over, but work did not begin until July 20. Their communication skills ( or lack therof) are terrible. They do not respond to requests or let you know what's going on. They want their money but are SLOWWWWWWWWWW with everything else. Work was completed on 9/19 and I still cannot get a finalized statement from them

Had a good experience with them when they assisted me with my flooded home. They were professional and prompt and got my home back to normal quickly. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

I am from Moore. Oklahoma , and on May 20 2013 our town went through a devastating F-5 tornado half of my neighborhood was leveled. My house was badly damaged. We were in shock one minute everything is fine the next minute every thing was turned upside down., even our cars were totaled. We hired Jim Abramson of Concierge Contractor.PLEASE IF YOU DON'T READ ANY THING BUT THIS DO NOT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN AND THIS COMPANY. ! This man has put me and my family trough hell. as if the tornado was'nt bad enough. We gave him $30,000 dollars up front this was to repair our home of 26 years. That was on Aug 13, 2013 It is almost a year and he has done absolutely no work on our house. I know its hard to believe someone could get away with this well he has and he did.And Iam not the only one there are several families in Oklahoma he has done this to. Right now we are going to the Attorney General to get something done. But don't listen to anything he has to say he is a FRAUD!!!! and a lowlife scumbag crook who preys on victims who are vulnerable and have nothing left and he promises them that he will start the next day. LIES that all he does. He will hire someone from craigslist to come to your town put signs up and advertise and when you call he tells you he has a office and a full crew of men to start on your home. This person he has hired off craigslist pretends to be a contractor and comes to your house brings the contract and collects the money. And then he stays around answering your calls stalling you telling you he is waiting on all the many permits.Sounds pretty good if you have never been through a tornado.before, you don't know. Anything. And after about 3-4 months the so called contractor from craigslist just up and leaves with out telling you. Then he will send another guy to you, mind you these men never do anything, the first guy never even went to our house. and then the second guy leaves and he told us because he had'nt got paid for 3 weeks . Now it is almost a year we have been evicted from the apt, a week before Christmas we moved in with our son and our now living down the street from our our still damaged house., All we wnat is to go home again.

Jim Abramson lied to us from the very beginning he is the most dishonest person we have ever dealt with. WE live in Moore Oklahoma and our home was damaged by the F-5 tornado that hit our town on May 20, 2013 .We gave him 30,000 dollars it is 9 months later not one thing has been done to our house and he refuses to give our money back. He said if any thing we owe him money.WE lost just about everything we had in the tornado but we still own house though badly damaged its all we have left. We have had to move 3 times we are now living with our son. The city of Moore was going to tear our house down because no work was being done on it and it was an eyesore to the community it was even featured on the evening news the news crew were talking to our neighbors wanting to know what it is like living next door to such a dump. It was very embarrassing to us and made it look like we did'nt care about our home of 30 years. My husband finally hired someone to enclose it the roof was half tore off etc. this was about amonth ago up until then it had just been sjtting there open to all the elements rain, snow, wind so the whole inside is covered with mold and mildew and our insurance co. will not cover that .They said it was our fault. We went through one of the worst thing in our lives we did'nt know how we would get through it If it had'nt been for the good people of Oklahoma we don't know what we would have done. The people in Oklahoma stick together in times of trouble. We trusted Jim he lied and said he had an office in OKC and a crew of men to rebuild our house. that was also a lie he had one man that did absolutely nothing he told us from the beginning he was going back to Michigan where he lived and he did'nt know what Jim out saying anything to us. The next guy Jim got was not a contractor either and all he did was tell us lie after lie he also did no work he quit also because he told us Jim had not paid him in 3 weeks. So this is the hell we have been going though not having a steady place to live being told lie after lie. It has even put a strain on our marriage. My daughter lives with us and is expecting a baby in May and we don't have enough room where we are at now for it so that is a hugh worry..Jim refuses to give us our money back without it we don't have enough to rebuild our home and Jim knows this.He says on his website that he is helping the tornado victims in Moore Oklahoma that is not true he is preying on the victims and trying to get their insurance money and then not do any thing. We are planning on sueing Concierge Contractors to get our 30,000 back plus all the stress and pain and mental anguish he has put us through. We know this will probably take a long time but we have no other choice our back is up against the wall and we don't have a choice our house is all we have left and we can't just let someone take it away from us.So please listen to this advice Jim is a very very smooth and convincing liar don't walk away from this place RUN!
