I hired them to replace 5 windows. These guys were excellent from start to finish. The presentation was great but I was still skeptical about the work after I hired them. They eliminated my fears as we went further thru the process, they communicated with my HOA for approval and installed all windows with great work on time. I highly recommend them.

Custom Concepts Construction was recommended to us by a contact at James Hardie siding. I was completely impressed by the level of detail that the owner, Mike Swank, presented in his proposal to us. He clearly knew the Hardie product and the installation standards. He came to us because we had new Hardie installed by a trusted contractor that assured us that had installed Hardie and his crews were skilled, however they made some major mistakes with installation, lack of supervision, etc. Mike came to look at the project, we explained our concerns and he took our information back to develop his proposal. He returned a for a follow up meet to discuss exactly what his company would do and every detail of the project. I was completely confident in his ability and his team's to do the project correctly. The company is excellent in communication-something that seems to be a weakness of many in the home improvement business. After many months, we resolved the issues with our original contractor and ended up not using Custom Concepts Construction. Before we resolved our project issues, the CCC staff followed up periodically to see if we had made any decisions or needed anything from them. They were polite and patient. This is clearly a well-structured company where customer service and the customer experience is key. If I have any projects for my home in the future, I will be calling them!

These guys were just terrific.
We had an unusual project. We had an enclosed screened in porch, and an adjacent open air deck, all in wood. We realized that the Mongomery County gnats and mosquitoes left the deck unused, and wanted to screen that in, creating a single large space which looked organically the same.
Since the deck and porch were 20+ years old, several contyactors told us they couldn't do it because of code changes. But CCC said "yes we can" and yes they could.
They handled the project from start to finish, getting all necessary permits, getting the engineering down pat. We added some new french doors and a large window, then decided to take down an interior wall. They did it all plus beautiful new siding inside the explanded porch, painted the ceiling in the area where the interior wall was down, and accomplish everything on time and at budget.
They installed a new roof on the entire house at a price which beat roofing-only contractors. When we had some roof leaks in the new porch, they came back and got it corrected.
Throughout, their workmen kept the project area clean and neat, displaying a high degree of careful professional work. I highly recommend them!

The staff, from the initial salesman to the on site work crew were excellent. The sales staff worked closely with us to finalize the design of our project, and worked hard to schedule the project before the real cold of winter set in. The construction crew was phenomenal. Not only did they efficiently do the job in a timely manner, but they did a great job of protecting our home from the cold and construction dust during the work. At the end, they carefully cleaned up before they left for the day.

Recently, I noticed a safety issue the deck on my 25 year old townhouse: because of improper engineering/substandard materials, it was in danger of detaching from the side of the house. Custom Concepts was the third outfit I contacted; their engineering approach was simpler, less disruptive, and less costly than the approach presented by the other two firms.
