    Run - Don't Walk Away

    We had a horrible experience with this contractor. Apparently he turned the entire job over to a sub who in turn used sub-standard workers and material. A minor 3-5 week remodel took 13!!!!! The work crew showed up without tools most days. We had to make numerous trips to local building supply stores to buy things like sheet rock, paint brushes, etc -- things that were supposed to be included in our contract. Non-qualified people were sent in to do work -- it took one worker over a week to install sheetrock in one 11 x 14 room -- and then it had to be done over again by someone only marginally better qualified. Someone was sent in to paint why had NEVER PAINTED BEFORE IN HIS LIFE. Door handles were installed backwards (I generally prefer that my doors lock from the INSIDE), faucet handles were installed incorrectly and backwards (yes, the little blue and red marks mean something), electrical wiring got crossed up to the point that switches in one room turned off outlets in another. The sub (Robert Adams) was rude, vulgar, and finally asked not to return.. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience!
