I asked for, reviewed, and interviewed five top rated contractors. Benjamin listened to my concerns, thoroughly answered my questions, and completely explained what would be involved in replacing the deck including how long it would take. He and his crew did everything they said they would in the time they said. In fact, they did more. As with any project, there were problems. These problems were resolved without complaint or extra charge. The crew was on time, efficient, hard working, extremely neat and left the job thoroughly clean and ready to use. The deck looks great and feels solid and secure. If I ever need any kind of construction work again, the first person I would call is Benjamin. I have no reservations in recommending Benjamin D. They removed a structural wall between my kitchen and living room to create a larger family room, as well as renovating an entire floor to create two new bedrooms with fabulous en suite bathrooms. They also helped manage the relationship with the city planning department. They built modern storage cupboards in the dining room to blend into their Victorian surroundings, as well as replicating existing finishes into the lobby. I was extremely impressed with the quality of their work, the great sub-contractors they selected and managed, and their follow-up after the project.
