I awoke to a hissing sound and thought my washing machine must be leaking. Instead it was a hose to my water heater. Before I could get help, my entire downstairs level and the laundry room/hallway upstairs were flooded. As a Senior without a husband, I felt totally helpless.
My first call was to the water company who just put me on a list to come and shut off my water “sometime during the day.” My second call was to my plumber of 17 years, Howard Rudd of Kerrville Plumbing Co. The man who answered my phone call said Howard had retired, but he would come over immediately. Within minutes Steve Holloway arrived with his son Ben. They went right to work and not only put in a new
pipe, but a shut off valve inside and out so that I would no longer have to depend on the
water company. Next they brought in huge fans and dehumidifiers to begin the process of drying everything out. I was impressed because I thought only a huge company such as “Serv-Pro” was equipped to do this.
While we waited the several days it took for everything to dry out, Steve pitched in and helped me through the process of bringing in my insurance company to assess the damages and contacting a carpet company to arrange installation of new carpeting and
resetting some of the old carpet. In just 5 days, phase one of the restoration was completed without a hitch. Steve and Ben even pitched in and carefully moved all of the downstairs furniture and my belongings, putting them back once the carpet was replaced
I was so pleased with their work that I decided to ask them to replace my kitchen sink faucet. They were not only able to replace it with the exact model, (a lumber yard told me I would have a hard time finding a faucet replacement for an older mobile
Home) but Ben pointed out that some of the pipes under the sink were old, and it was just a matter of time before they failed, thus providing me with some preventative maintenance.
In summary, I knew from the moment I discovered that Howard Rudd had turned his company over to the Holloways that I could trust them to provide me with the same honest, superb service. I was not disappointed. Steve and Ben worked very cleanly, were always on time, called before they came, and charged me very fairly. I was always provided with detailed paperwork and estimates. Once I met them, I knew I was in good hands so that I was able to relax and leave the details to them. I could not recommend Steve and Ben Holloway/Kerrville Plumbing Co., not to be confused with the company with blue trucks with the Holloway name on the side, any higher than I have already. Their business ethics are above reproach.

These guys were on time and fixed my faucet leaks, unstopped one bathroom sink, and replaced the trap and piping next to it today.
I work the second shift and asked they come late; no problem!
Clean, nice to deal with and cost me $133.!
