This contractor’s shoddy, sloppy, uncompliant work has affected two neighbors in my neighborhood: Neighbors adjacent to where they work.
They seem to have an aversion for silt fence.
Both time they dug the hole for the pool and the displaced sand made its way during heavy rains into the adjacent properties.
One neighbor filed a code-violation complaint with IRC because the sand went into their inground pool.
In my instance, I filed a code-violation because the sand they displaced from my neighbors future pool was spread over the entire yard raising its elevation. The increase in elevation, of course made the neighbors sand run downhill into my yard when it rained.
On several occasions I contacted Crystal Pools to remediate. Each time (3) they rudely denied culpability although one csn clearly see the sand trails traveling from their pool install to my yard. One one of those contact occasions they flat-out lied blaming it on the GC, then claiming they dudn’t know his name when I asked.
I’ve taken more than four wheelbarrows or sand from that area of my yard, but more just keeps coming.
They’re slow, extremely sloppy in they process, and now have a proven track record of unwelcome incursions onto neighboring properties
They still have made no effort to remove the sand which has killed my grass and pools around the base of my plumerias.
