I subcontracted with J&H Builders in 2004 to build my house. The worst experience in my life. The people involved in this company have had judgments against them by GMAC. The owner was charged with assault and battery on her husband. Also, had a restraining order put against her by husband's apparent girlfriend Katy Norris. These people are what I consider shady people based on the above information. I have been in a lawsuit with them for 6 years and wasted time and money. The LLR has indicated that it is highly likey she will lose her building license based on filing a lien for which she has no damages, lied on her building license application, lack of proof of actual experience building and more. I would not encourage anyone to hire these people. I consider them to be dishonest.

Melinda built my house and she went out of her way to make it the best experence. She walked me through the whole process before she started construction. I would reconmend Melinda on the contruction of your house. She has built houses all the way to Charleston to the mountains of North Carolina and Georgia. Building codes also have great things to say about her she has been building since 1994 and recieved her licence 1999. She was borned in South Carolina and a native to Oconee County, attended West-Oak high School.
