    ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! We recently purchased an older home and contracted the Keith Group to handle the painting for the remodel. Turns out that ALL of our wooden trim work and cabinets throughout the house were oil based paint, he went over everything in Latex and it's ALL PEELING! I thought since he is a " licensed professional" he would have tested before suggesting latex. My gracious, he saw all the old paint cans in the garage, we even looked at the old colors. It's been an absolute nightmare trying to remedy the damage that was done. I wish there was something good to say about any of the painting that was done on the house, but sadly there is not. I would say the quality of work is amateurish at best. While I am embarrassed at how bad the paint looks in my home, I am more embarrassed for Gregory and his workers at the Keith Group, and the quality of work that they delivered. It would be one thing if it was a simple paint job like painting a door and it looked sub-par, but that isn't the case. The entire house looks like amateur hour. In fact, after the paint started to peel off the wood surfaces in our house, we contacted a paint manufacturer's representative for Louisiana, and had him come to our house to assess the situation. He did confirm that latex paint had been applied directly over the oil based paint, and also made the comment that this is probably one of the worst paint jobs he had ever seen. I cannot in good faith recommend the Keith Group to anyone, based on our experience with them.
