Kevin Greer Fine Carpentry and More

Kevin is a really nice guy, he’s just a liar. He has many lawsuits outstanding from doing the same thing over. You can see relevant links to the lawsuits below. He will sign an agreement, take your money, do some demo and then start the work. He then disappears and comes up with all types of excuses and you have to chase him to get him to continue the work. He claimed that the subs didn’t return his call and when we reached out to one of them directly, they said that Kevin hadn’t paid them. We asked Kevin about his and he just looked at us (a bit Biden like). We still have people knocking on our door asking for money that he owes them! The quality of his work ranges from being very good to poor depending on the sub that shows up. His main guy Mark is poor, don’t trust his work! Bottom line is, don’t use him. Look elsewhere. Do your research online about him, don't get caught up with what a nice and helpful guy he seems to be.

I had waited weeks for one contractor and over a month on another to get back the same thing. I was provided references which checked out, so we moved ahead on my addition. I hired Kevin Greer Fine Carpentry and More LLC in September 2015 to perform a significant renovation on a property in West New York, NJ. I made an upfront payment as deposit upon hiring this company. No work was ever performed by the contractor on my property. I have hired two attorneys in an attempt to recoup my deposit and as of this date still have received no monies. My advice to anyone thinking about hiring Mr. Greer or his company – DON’T DO IT.

Kevin Greer was hired by me to renovate my house. He was behind schedule in 49 days, which made me move between 6 hotels as he never stood behind any schedule he submitted. In addition, he put plumber & electrician on the permits that just gave him their license numbers but brought unprofessional workers, that did lots of mistakes and left the job unfinished and unsafe as we didn't pass electricity & fire inspection and cannot live in the house. He took $7,500 payment for raw materials of a deck he never did and by committing a fraud on inspection manage to take another $5000 before he left site. BE CAREFUL!!!!
