I wish I could give Kodama more than 5 stars because they are sooo amazing! We did a full home remodel including cabinets, lighting, bathroom redesign (including moving walls), appliances, plumbing, etc, etc. This is our second major remodel in Santa Fe, and I interviewed several contractors to be sure we had one that met our standards after a very negative experience in our first Santa Fe remodel. Howard and Kodama Construction were head and shoulders above all others that I interviewed in their responsiveness, understanding of the work we needed done, and professionalism in bidding. And, their prices were fair and well explained.
The experience of working with Howard and his subcontractors EXCEEDED our expectations on all levels -- the planning, the work execution, and the follow up. All the trades people we came into contact with during this work were professional, pleasant to work with, and have high standards of customer satisfaction.
We LOVE the work that was done, feel the pricing is more than fair and reasonable, and continue to use Howard and his team as we settle into our home and identify details to be handled.
I recommend Howard Bell and Kodama Construction without reservation. In fact, I think if you hire anyone else, you will not be serving yourself well.
