Julian has abundant knowledge of the construction industry, and has a gift for trouble shooting. He and his crews have always been timely and their product exceptional. They take the necessary time to make sure walls are straight and plumb, layout and build is on square and very precise, and window and door openings are accurate. I am an experienced ICF home builder, and know the importance of using skilled Pro’s like Julian and his crew. I think Millennium Masonry is the best ICF company in the state and they are always my first choice for installations. I look forward to seeing Julian’s new ICF roofing system this year, an innovation I’d like to add to my own future builds.

Thanks for the past 10 years of quality work and service, we will continue to use your company for all our ICF needs.

    Sincerely,

Talking with Julian was very helpful. He was able to provide a lot of information concerning construction and energy usage/conservation, as well as environmental concerns. His responses to my questions were in a timely and professional manner, as was the estimate he provided.

This company was fast and courteous on the phone. I liked how they accommodated my schedule with a tour of one of their completed projects. Also, their estimate was below other companies, well explained and was given promptly. I feel more comfortable with this company than the others I contacted.

    Julian, Donna and Crew,
I would like to tell you how pleased I am at the ICF system that your company provided. I have always thought of myself as progressive when it comes to building technology; however, deciding to build with ICF's was a leap ... even for me. I liked what I heard, but didn't believe that all of the benefits could really be as good as they are claimed to be. We changed the design of our building reluctantly as the cost of steel studs went through the roof this past year. What I found was that we were able to build with the ICF system for a very attractive price, and although it may have taken a little longer to see the walls go up, once they were up - they were able to be finished on the exterior immediately.
This January marks the first in our new office complex, and all 6400 square feet - 86,400 cubic feet heat with in floor radiant supplied hot water from a 66,000 btu supply. I would have never believed it if I hadn't witnessed it for myself. My log home is 3,200 square feet and takes over 300,000 btu's to heat. What a difference! I could fit two of my homes side by side inside of our new office complex and we are heating the office building with 1/5 of what just one of these homes would take. I'm sold ... especially after the brutally cold winter he had this year.
Julian, Joel, and their respective crews made fast work of the setting of these forms. And with Julian's expert guidance, I would challenge anyone to find a straighter poured wall - it is just not possible. I would say that the wall plumb and alignment on this building are at least as good as any framed wall - and possible better. Our walls are 27' tall, and in all we have just over 1.2M pounds of concrete inside this structure. We shut off the heat to the building in January to see how well we'd do, and it held above 55 degrees for three days with no heat input. Outdoor temp during our test was high teens to 20 during the day and -8 at night. I think after 20 minutes in my log home, if we had a power outage, we'd be heading for the door.
Needless to say, I am very happy with our new building. Pleased at the efficiency of the structure as well as the remarkable stucco finish that was direct applied to the ICF's. We are pursuing LEED certification and know we will pass with flying colors.
Thank you for all that you have done for us, we appreciate your hard work and wish you the best of success. If you have any clients that would like to visit Waupaca and tour our facility, please let me know.
