    If you’ve had an issue with this company, PLEASE file a complaint with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation!

    The prior reviewer is absolutely correct. The owner/contractor, Michael Furlong, does not personally get involved with project management and is frequently in South America where he lives part-time. He has a couple unlicensed persons who do the work under the umbrella of his license and in return, these individuals pay Furlong a percentage of the job’s value for subletting his license.

    Also, this company has a large monetary judgement recorded against it. So if your job requires a permit, Myy Builder’s creditors are going to identify you through public records and serve you with a writ of garnishment to try to collect the funds that they are owed.

    Of course, Myy Builders will not finish your job once they are made aware that the remainder of their fee will go to the creditor instead of them and you will be left with a half finished project and in need of a new contractor. And good luck recovering any funds that have already been paid. What a mess!

    We made a complaint to the DBPR about this business over 7 months ago but I guess the cogs of government turn very slowly. Perhaps if additional property owners make complaints, something will be done about this crook and his associates. And you may even be entitled to financial compensation under the Florida Construction Recovery Fund. Make that complaint!

    This company is dishonest. The guy who comes out to the job site pretends to be a contractor but the actual license holder is some shadowy figure in the background. Probably some end run around the law. The work is awful, they are incompetent to say the least. They are liars because they don't keep their word, they are thieves because they cashed a check from us that they did not earn after we fired them. They should have come to us and worked out something fair to both sides but they elected to steal from us instead. I was an actual licensed contractor in California before I retired so I do know of where I speak. Where I come from a man's word is his bond and my handshake is worth more than any contract, this man's word and handshake are worthless.

    This is not a contractor. It is an individual with a license but without any experience. They were contracted and ripped us off not performing to the contract agreement and workmanship was horrible. Don't get taken by these crooks. Hired to do tile work and I had to pay a company to remove all their installation. Tiles were installed crooked and uneven. Had to purchase all new tiles again costing us double.

    I would not have them do another job for us. They start the tile job but have to call and call to get them to finish the job. After several unanswered calls I had to finish the tile job myself. I recommended them to a friend in the middle of our job and he had the same problem , had to keep calling to get it finished. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
