Firstly, his craftsmanship needs to improve a lot. He installed a steel roof on my home, and the first day he showed up he cut a huge hole in my roof to remove an electric vent fan, he left it at the end of the day vulnerable to rain. Guess what the very next day, 4 1/2 inches of rain. I've got water damage on my ceiling now. I pointed out there was damage and he refused to take any action or responsibility for it. Secondly, it seems he will only work 4 or 5 hours a day. As for his craftsmanship, on one side of my home, he did not centre the ribs of the steel sheets on the roof and when he put the gable trim on, the trim landed on top of the ribs. Looks very unsightly, as he had to force the trim to lay down, causing puckers at where it was screwed. I talked about this to him and he said he would fix it. I later pointed out another gross error of judgement and demanded to remove the trim and redo it right. After that day he wanted me to pay for half the job and he insinuated he was going to quit and leave my roof incomplete. I paid him in full when he completed, as our agreement. He told me that he fixed the items the best he could. It's still not right and now I'm going to either redo his work myself or hire someone else. I don't think this guy has enough experience to work on his own. And the quality of his work shows it.
