    Fraudulent business

Stay away from this business. Call the police .it is not a contracting business it is a rip off business. He was arrested for home owners fraud. My husband made the mistake of writing a check for too much money down before job was completed. not only did he not come back to do the job ,he did thousands of dollars worth of damage..It is a long story ,but you can call West Manchester Police , Det. Snell and report your incident.

build a fence, add sidinng to our shed and correct the siding on our house

    Disappointed!

Promised to come back whenever we saw a problem. Told him over a year ago about a problem and he said he would be back the following week - haven't seen him since. I thought the work was good and so we recommended him to our neighbors. One of our neighbors wanted a large shed built and gave him 1/2 down. That was well over a year ago and the shed has not been built. When my neighbor complained Freddie dropped the price a little but did not give him his money back. To this date the shed has not been built. The workers are really nice guys and they do nice work but Freddie takes on too much work and they can't keep up. I will never again recommend this company as long as Freddie is in charge.

Stay away from this company, owned by Freddie Hunt. We hired and fired him and here is a list of problems.
He missed all of his own deadlines. Project still not nearly done even 2 months into it.
Provider repaired water-damaged walls, replaced damaged walls with studs, plywood, and house wrap. They removed stucco, and aluminum siding, and replaced with vinyl siding. They replaced doors, and re-installed windows. They installed new drywall and plaster. They applied pargeting around bottom of house and on chimneys. They removed old roof shingles and applied new flashing and shingles. They repaired some plumbing. They installed new roof vents.

This contractor and his crew were fired from our job for many issues. They removed and repaired the damaged walls with no problems, however, they did not bring their own tools and used OUR tools constantly, while on the job site. They were very careless upon removal of the stucco and aluminum siding, which lead to multiple plumbing leaks/disasters... big enough that our living room and basement were flooded. We both had to leave our work to come home to clean up. Our Living Room carpet was completely soaked and destroyed. They did NOT clean up after themselves, let alone the job site. They left numerous cigarette butts, cups, food, paper, etc., littered all around our home. They had a complete lack of respect for our property. Upon removal of our aluminum siding, aluminum nails, from the siding, littered our yard, and they had no plans to pick them up, until we requested that they do so. They also removed our rain gutters and we have been without gutters for over 2 months, so every time it rained, we got water in our basement. We now have water damage and mold in our basement that his insurance company is paying to repair. When they DID get to part of our roof, they completely ripped off a vent and never replaced it, which led to any kitchen oil (from the exhaust fan) leaking into our attic AND running down our siding. When I brought this to the contractor's attention, they installed a new vent, but never bothered to completely hook it up to the vent on the inside, which left the attic exposed to more grease, from the kitchen vent, which leaves our attic a potential fire hazard. Upon installing new siding, they did things backwards, especially on the corner pieces, so the new contractor must remove and repair (I even pointed this out to the original contractor... they just never fixed these issues). Our siding is still not completed (and honestly, I thank God for that, so that it's done properly). Contractor replaced old doors with 2 new ones, only to have to remove/re-install twice, because they could not get them squared properly. The doors are STILL not working properly and will be reworked by the new contractor. Drywall was installed improperly, and I repeatedly asked the contractor why they were installing the drywall in this fashion... and he always had a different story. Upon installing our roof (in sections... with MANY left undone... again, thank God), the flashing was installed improperly, there was no ice shield installed, which is "code," in our area, and some of the shingles had to be removed and reworked because they had been installed improperly the first time.

We had two thefts, one inside our home and the other outside. Both done by one of his crew who has a record back to 2001. We were told that this guy steals from worksites and his girlfriend pawns the items.
Mr. Hunt hired people under the table and did not even know their real names. Some only went by a nickname.

We hired an inspector who provided a report that clearly indicates the work was sloppy, subpar and amateurish.

Summation: Every day the contractor had someone on our job, I came home to inspect the work. Upon my inspection, I would make a list of all the things that needed to be re-worked because of errors. They spent many days fixing things. The contractor lied to us more times than we could even think to count. Work was done in an odd manner... one day they worked on the siding, one day on the roof, one day inside, most days only work was done for 3-4 hours, etc. Not one thing was ever finished completely on our home, except for fixing the original issue of the water damage... that was all. Money was mismanaged by the contractor, and now we are left to pay twice, to get our home finished. Bottom line, is that we would NEVER recommend this contractor to anyone. I could say more, but at this point, feel that this is enough to help folks make up their mind about this company.

The workmanship is very good. The workers are polite and respectful. The time it takes to get the job completed is poor and so is follow-up. If you want a good job and time is not a factor to you than this company is for you.

I've used these guys for over 2 years now on my bank-owned homes. They are understand bank requirements, their low prices usually win the bid well under $500 less than other companies, and after the jobs are approved by the banks (sometimes takes a week or so) they start right away. They also finish well within bank guidelines for repairs.

Often, suggesting ideas during the project that will improve the end result without costing more money.

I will continue to hire them for upcoming properties that need repairs or updates, and have recommended them to fellow Realtors to use them for all aspects of real estate sales.

I've the pleasure of working with Redman Construction. They were the ONLY contractors that came out to my house and gave me really good ideas for half the price of what those OTHER guys were going to do and charge me.

Redman Construction thus far, have completed my family room witch looks AMAZING!!!!! A complete make over from what it looked like before.

The work I've had done was completed in timely manner. I am very thankful that they don't rush through their work because, Redman Construction found A LOT of electrical faulty wiring, termites and mold. None of the other contractors would have looked for any of those things.

I am actually shocked at the prior two comments. I have NEVER had a problem with anyone from Redman Construction and I WOULD recommend them to all of my family and friends.

I would stay away from these guys. Very polite and socialble but not the most reliable. The were not consistent on when they would show up and never came back to finsh a job. There must be better workers out there.

Did an okay job. Showed up when they wanted to not always when they said they would. Never came back to finish a job although they said the would. May be best for something small.
