Richard the Door Guy was recommended to us by family and he responded promptly, discussing our new entry door project by phone, followed by a visit when he took precise measurements and answered all questions in detail. He picked up the new door for us. Then we we discovered the lock we purchased added complications to his installation so he took time before the installation day to work out the lock's exacting requirements. The installation went smoothly even with our added challenge. Our new door fits handsomely due to his efforts. Lock set and trim were precisely fitted after checking with us as to handle placements. Richard was a pleasure to work with from the first call to the finished door and his fee . His fee was very reasonable. We, too, highly recommend him.

Richard was a real pleasure to work with. He was highly informative before and throughout the installation process which made things go very smoothly. Richard takes a lot of pride in his craft and made sure things were perfect, despite some curveballs that our home presented. You can tell he’s seen it all. Highly recommended!

Richard replaced 2 exterior doors for us and was a pleasure to work with. Both were challenging proects, especially the front door which had to have the entire frame rebuilt. Richard took extra care to match the new outside trim to the surrounding inside trim which we did not expect and it makes our entryway look beautiful. Communication was excellent throughout the process, from the original inspection and estimate to the installation, and we now have doors that not only can stand up to the coastal weather, but look beautiful as well. He arrived on time, was meticulous about his work and left everything neat and clean. We highly recommend Richard the Door Guy!
