I've worked with The Pittsburgh Painting Co. on many occasions and seen them in action on a variety of homes. Their process is state of the art and their products are amazing and truly top of the line. I love their warranties and touch up programs! Highly recommended!

I've used The Pittsburgh Painting Co. both professionally (I worked as Building Manager at a high profile office that dealt with the most well-known names around the world) and personally. The most recent experience, for this review, was (as always) outstanding. I can't compliment Bill & Steve enough: so professional, committed, generous, attentive, personable, top-quality, etc. They are set on giving you a Wow experience. Everything now, in my home, looks great after I remodeled and needed the entire inside painted as well as the facade of my house. Each day I exclaim, "I love my house!" The paint brought it ALL together... thanks to the beautiful, thorough work of Pittsburgh Painting !!

We recently bought a house (built in 1945), the kind of property where the seller splashed on a quick coat of gray and white tones that were chipping away. As first-time homebuyers, my husband and I decided to paint our home to set a new beginning. We had a limited budget, but we strive to get the best value out there. We always wanted to have a nice red front door among other things. To better understand the going rate for single-story dwellings, we sought 5 quotes from around the Pittsburgh area, and The Pittsburgh Painting Co. provided the best balance of timing, value and cost.
When considering a painter, there are several factors to consider. Obviously, price is one of those factors that initially come to mind. I often would like to get the cheapest deal, but experience has shown me you get what you pay for. For our home's exterior painting, we wanted something that would last beyond its first year. We also wanted our home to stand out from the rest of the houses on our street.
The Pittsburgh Painting Co. stood out from the rest of the other companies because of its great customer service and products. My husband and I met the owner Bill Kraft, in person on a Saturday morning to look at our house together. He was easy to talk to and was open to our ideas about having 3 colors (in addition to white window frames). He went over the details of the house and described how he'd remove the rusty air vents and scrape off problem areas before applying the paint and so forth. To seal the deal, no pun intended, The Pittsburgh Painting Co. would provide a 3-year warranty on product and labor.
When we signed the contract and set a time to begin work, it began to rain for about a week. However, what can you do about Nature? Bill kept us posted as to when they could paint our home and made arrangements accordingly. Once the weather cleared up, The Pittsburgh Painting Co. didn't waste time and started working on our home. We are extremely satisfied with our home's new look!
When it comes to selecting a painter, the cheapest price doesn't necessarily equate to value and confidence. The Pittsburgh Painting Co. is not cheap but they're competitive by taking the time in knowing what their potential clients are looking for. Having the face-to-face interaction is a plus in understanding the nature of the work involved and the condition of the home.
We have consistently received compliments from our neighbors and friends, alike.
We highly recommend Bill Kraft and The Pittsburgh Painting Co because of their experience, professionalism and profound attention to detail.

The Pittsburgh painters just painted every square inch of the interior of my new home. We were on a tight 6 day schedule and The guys worked hard for 6 days straight to complete the job on time. He is a man of his word! Needless to say our house now looks amazing. The finish work and attention to detail was remarkable! He is even going to come back after the floors have been installed to touch up the baseboards (not something he has to do). I have had bad experiences with contractors in the past, but I trusted Bill from the minute I met him. He is honest, gives good suggestions, and truly cares about his clients and his projects. He also does not promise things he can't deliver - he was completely honest about when he could start the project and up front about how long it would take.

The Pittsburgh Painting Co. painted our home in edgewood, pa and did a excellent job. They replaced all of our wrotton wood and much more. Bill and his crew was great to work with.
We used Pittsburgh Painting to paint the exterior of our home. We got 6 different quotes and while they were near the middle-top in cost, they did negotiate on price (to be in the middle) and had far superior quality and professionalism. Their work was flawless and done under schedule. Not only did they paint, but they also notified us as to rotting wood in our eaves, problems in our gutters, and other issues for us to be aware of as we maintain our home. They gave advice for us to fix things ourselves and included some small repairs free of charge! I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly to anyone else. Exceeded expectations!!
