  I would give him 0 stars if I could. By far the worst contractor that I have ever hired. Just see his D+ rating on BBB.

  -does not respond to emails/texts/calls (always has an excuse)
  -did not order enough pavers for my project (my 4th grader could've done the calculations correctly)
  -left my driveway a mess
  -incompetent - there was a slight depression on my driveway and his solution was "black self leveling concrete." transition - regular concrete spray painted black. Of course spray paint started peeling the next DAY!!! No competent contractor in his right mind would think that that was a good solution. He came back that week to fix it. Said he didn't have the proper tools but that he would be back the next week. That was 2 years ago.

  I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

  GREAT JOB

  From beginning to end, the BEST experience! Jeff came to our home in the ladder part of the evening to provide us with an estimate. My husband has a very inflexible schedule. In order to not lose the light, Jeff inspected the area to where the proposed work would be located. Jeff then sat with us a little over 2 hours to explain, in great detail, the steps it would take to complete our project. Jeff was willing to answer any and all questions. My husband and I had a plan for what we wanted to do with our outdoor space. Jeff offered some ideas that we hadn't even thought of. We explained that we really appreciated his time and told him that we had one additional estimate . Without any indication of disappointment or frustration, Jeff let us know that it was his pleasure to have had the opportunity to provide us with an estimate. The next day we received an estimate that was less expensive. The less expensive contractor was more like a salesman....in and out. Really vague with little consultation. He said he would put the quote in the mail. Needless to say, we went with Tomasello Patio and Stone. Over a period of 4 days Jeff and Edgar arrived punctually, worked late and cleaned up all debris. The completed patio EXCEEDED my expectations!!! Well worth the money!!

  3 years ago, I had a new patio installed by Tomasello Patio and Stone. During the installation Jeff, the owner, assured me that the job would be done correctly. (1) Almost every paver is stepped and the polymer sand is falling in between the pavers and grass and weeds are growing from in between. This is all because he did use the tamper for the last 2 steps. I have been in touch with the sales rep for the paver company and have spoken to several contractors on this issue. Each said they never heard of not tamping. I looked at several sources on the internet. All specifically mention tamping as a major part of the process. (2) My fire pit was installed on top of the pavers instead of installing the pavers around the pit. Now when it rains, the ash seeps out the bottom onto the patio. (3) During the cutting of the block, he did not cover the vents that go into my hvac system, causing all the block dust to circulate throughout my entire home. He offered no assistance nor helped to pay for the clean-up. (4) Mostly all the cuts are stepped because he did not cut the butting stone at the same angle. (5) The main reason I had the patio done was due to a water issue. He pitched the patio so steep to one section that I get flooding in the corner in which it is pitched. I have reached out to the company several times since the job was completed. He came out 4 times to look and refuted every argument each time, but saying he would fix this issues. This spring was the last time, and this time he never came back. I have tried several times to resolve this issue without taking legal action, but I believe he was given plenty of chances!

  They did a wonderful job building my 18 X 9 porch. The stone and pavers used matched my existing walk perfectly ( different brand ) and the clean up was perfect.
