    I had a recommendation to use Whitley Plumbing for my plumbing needs. I needed to replace the electric hot water heater and called to schedule the work. When I called their number, I spoke with a young lady who said that someone would get back with me to set up a date and time. After several days, a gentleman who I thought was employed with Whitley Plumbing called and we set up a Monday morning appointment. Late Monday afternoon, he called and said that he was running late on a job and would it be alright to come on Wednesday morning. Sure, no problem. Wednesday came and went with no call. No call until Thursday evening and stating that they could come Friday. Finally, Friday mid-morning \two guys came and replaced the heater Got the bill for close to $1300.00!! No itemized statement for price of materials and labor. Called Whitley Plumbing half a dozen times and the young lady apologized saying it was an oversight on their part and that they would mail it the next day Never came. Found out these guys work for Whitley on occasion and that they were moon-lighting with my job. Filed a complaint with BBB that went nowhere! BBB said that they had notified Whitley Plumbing with my concerns and that a company spokesperson would be in touch. Never happened! I would not recommend Whitley for any job and I have reservations about the efficacy of the BBB.
