Application #: a08-0064 sprint-nextel- the demolition permit is “at risk” since building permit comments have not been completed to date. the applicant must understand that prior to the issuance of the building permit that all comments must be addressed to staff’s satisfaction which will include any applicable revised sheets/drawings. there are two major items that will need to be addressed; the addition of a row of shrubs along the east wall elevation and the east elevation’s gate swing. the gate along the east elevation currently proposes to swing into the parking stalls. this is not acceptable. there needs to be enough clearance for the gates to swing and to have a car parked in the designated space. staff is proposing the possibility of the gates swinging inwards or the reconfiguring of the parking stalls; with the understanding they still meet code, which is a minimum depth of 18.5 ft., 9 ft. wide and a minimum drive aisle width of 25 ft. also, we need assurance that all the louver panels (existing and proposed) will match. finally, the new screen wall needs to be taller than the proposed additional generator and transformer.
