Luis R. is a cool, professional and also very nice person. He came to our house twice already. Since I have to let somebody I do not know into my house, I want someone like Luis to come and do the maintenance.

This is my Yelp review of 04/11/14:
    Pros and Cons

Pro; semi emergency since PGE turned off furnace after gas smell outside (not inside) the home. Able to get next day appt.

Con; expensive diagnostic fee ($80). They don't credit the diagnostic fee into the repair fee, like others do.

BIG CON; Greg's attitude was terrible. Explained what PGE tech said to me. Greg testing fittings and said no leak, I told him that PGE detected smell of gas outside not inside.
Greg called supervisor and told me that maybe they can't fix it or won't be responsible for fixing it. Then he told his supervisor that I told him a story that makes no sense.
    The story was wrong.

I corrected Greg; that I was just relaying info from PGE. Then I had to ask him to remove the furnace/blower cover to check inside. I asked lots of questions about OTHER parts (control valve, pvc pipe crack) that could be wrong (googled hvac the night before).
He said " I don't have to take this, I'm out of here".

I had to tell him I wasn't mad at him, so that he didn't leave.

Finally found the problem with broken gas control valve (which is what I asked Greg initially). $ 500 later.

Then he tried to sell me the monthly plan. Ugh.
    Probably wont use them again.

This is my Yelp update 04/16/14:
    Okay, so it's fixed right?

No hot water on Sat am (next day), pilot light out.
Turned on heater, to check it. Son smelled gas. Turned off heater and called PGE and Bell Bros.
Bell Bros wanted to charge another $80 diagnostic fee. UGH!!!

After a few calls, they relented and said that they would come for free.

PGE came out and said that Bell bros must not have flushed the line or lit the pilot light after they turned the gas back on. Double UGH!!

PGE checked everything, burned off the excess gas in the pipe and lit the pilot light.
    Now it's all good.

Ryan Mark was out yesterday to service the HVAC system and did a truly professional job in the process. He explained each step he would be going through and answered all the questions I had for him. Took some time to find out, but I don't think Bell Bros. can be beat.

Bell Brothers - what did I ever do without you?
Professional, knowledgeable technicians who always arrive on tome, clean up after the work and always have a smile on their face!
This is the only Heating and AC company for me!

Bell Brothers techs did a great job replacing our heating/air conditioner. Kevin B. arrived the 1st day, inspected everything, clearly explained our options for repair or replacement. When we chose to replace, he listed all activities to be done, calculated costs and setup the appt. Everything happened as he said it would. The techs Anthony M.,Aman K., Sean G. worked continuously, cleaned up after and left things in good shape. They tested the heat/air to make sure it worked. They all did an excellent job. Job well done, on time, as priced with no surprises.

Ian was the only Service Technician who was able to service both my central heat/air system and my ductless system since I had it installed 3 years ago. He is the only technician who even knew the ductless system had air filters that needed to be cleaned. Please send him back each time as he is the only person I have had who knows about the ductless systems. I pay for two service contacts one for each system, but until today with Ian, I have not felt I have gotten my monies worth for my service contract on the ductless system.

Marshall & Andres were my service specialists...both were GREAT! From start to finish they were courteous, professional, timely, and very through. From my first call to Bell Brothers I felt that I was going to be well taken care of. Even though it was over 100 degrees outside they never acted liked it bothered them. I am very grateful for all the hard work they put in. I will be a customer of Bell Brothers again someday and definitely ask for Marshall & Andres...Thank you!

I have a maintenance plan for my heating and air conditioning unit with Bell Brothers and Justin L. has serviced my unit several times. He is a pleasant young man, always courteous and efficient. As my unit is on the roof-top, it is always more demanding work for him. He does with work with care and competence. I appreciate his service and work ethics very much.

I had my annual heater inspection today and Matt H was the technician. What a nice young man. He was here on time and was extremely efficient. He explained everything he was going to do. Once he started the inspection and cleaning, he came in a couple of times to show me exactly what he was doing and how the parts worked. He was excellent.
I signed up for the Service Club because I don't think I could find a better heating and air conditioning company. They have never tried to sell me something I don't need and have always taken great care of my home. Thank you Bell Brothers and Thank You Matt H.

Recently gave the periodic service contracted with the company that installed our heating and air conditioning units. It was a very good experience and didn't take longer than necessary. The technician, Brent. G., explained everything thoroughly and answered our questions without rushing to be sure we understood well. He was very personable but professional.

Bell Brothers has always provided execllent service to my home and my mother's.
Today Nathan W. did a professional and time consuming evaluation of the two heating systems at my residence (one on the roof and one in the basement) and found the systems to be in good shape.

Matthew H was out to service our AC system today. He was on time, professional, efficient, and provided great information about the items he had completed while there. This was my first experience with Bell Bros. We were not happy with our previous company, and my only complaint is that I didn't call Bell Bros. sooner. I will definitely use them again, and reccomend them to others. Matt was a great company representative. Thank you!

We had Eric R. out to service a 2-year old unit not installed by Bell Brothers. The unit had become loud and airflow was inconsistent throughout the house. He was able to quickly determine the source of problems and repair them. He also offered recommendations to prolong the life of the unit. Thanks a lot!

Nick C. came out and fixed my AC within a few minutes of being onsite. It was a mistake I had caused when I installed the new condenser fan motor (polarity backwards) causing the compressor to overheat. Regardless of my mistake he clearly explained the functionality and made the quick fix.The rest of the system was also tested to be sure everything was working as it should be.
