HVAC/Furnace Repairs
The fan on my ancient fuel oil burner has a "dead spot.". I can start it manually by shutting off the power, removing the blower/fan cover, and advancing the squirrel cage fan by hand, replacing the cover, and turning the furnace on (making sure the thermostat is calling for heat).
Replaced the transformer that activated the spark, but the tech said, "Wait until the fan goes.". I don't know if the fan motor can be rebuilt or replaced.
I have enough electric heaters to get by if I had to. I have a brand name furnace, but it is the original, and the house was built before World War II. If interested, please contact me. Thanks!
