Deck Staircase Work
Project overview:
-Build a staircase attached to the existing home deck, connecting the deck to the backyard. The staircase will have a total height of 8.5 feet, matching the deck height.
Materials needed:
- 2x12 or 2x10 pressure-treated lumber for stringers
- 2x4 lumber for treads and risers
- 4x4 lumber for posts
- Decking boards for treads and landings
- Railings and balusters
- Wood screws and nails
- Post anchors and concrete footings (for 3x3 base)
