I am a Private Geriatric Care Manager for Cindy and Dan Brooks. Dan has a very progressive dementia disease process and it is rapidly deteriorating his physical abilities. He has a first floor bedroom that has plenty of space to enlarge and remodel the bathroom. We need it to be ADA compliant so caregivers can wheel him into a shower and enough space for the caregiver to assist him on to the toilet. The goal is to keep him at home through the end. At the moment, we need a couple of doors rehung, an electrical outlet replaced (I have the parts), a couple of small windows replaced (I have the glass), the hose to the washing machine looked over and likely replaced (I can get the parts), a new dishwasher installed, and a new kitchen counter (from say Home Depot) installed to replace the old one, and any carpentry around it done.
