Ron Copp Roofing Service installed our current roof on May 5, 2008. We recently had our attic inspected by Orkin, and the report indicated that mice have been entering the home through gaps in the roof—most commonly along the ridge vents, box vents, eave returns, and flashing points.
Their recommendation is to install ridge/box guards with a metal mesh product that allows for proper ventilation while preventing pests from entering the attic.
We’re requesting a second opinion from Copp Roofing regarding this issue and the recommended solution.
