Post Flood Home Remodel
It’s a multi-level project. The cause was 2 pipes that burst in late July & took 10 weeks to dry out! (Serve Pro had 7 machine in here for 2 mo the then 2 for the last couple of weeks. Abatement of asbestos has been completed. Here’s a brief description:
Basically it involves redoing a 2nd floor bathroom where the leak occurred. The floor has dropped in 2 places in that room. One is 1-1/2” & the other appears to be 3”. There is also an issue with supports below the floor of that bathroom. These are easily viewed since the ceiling is gone in the living room below.
The living room has no ceiling since most of it fell with the leak & what didn’t fall was removed due to asbestos. The floors are hardwood & were damaged by water, so they need refinishing. This room will also need painting...
