Attic Remodel
I recently purchased my home in January and am exploring the possibility of finishing the unfinished walk-in attic space above my garage in the Concord/Harrisburg, NC area (Cabarrus County). The space measures approximately 13' x 23' with a 9' peak ceiling, and my goal is to convert it into a combined music practice room and storage area.
The attic currently has power available, access to heating and air conditioning through an adjoining closet, exposed rafters, partial OSB walls, and some existing insulation. I've attached photos for reference.
At this stage, I'm primarily looking for a realistic ballpark budget estimate to help me plan and save for the project. I'm not ready to begin construction immediately and expect to move forward within the next 6–12 months. I'm trying to deter...
