  Roof Repairs

  $5,500

  Too bad there's "Zero Stars" for these inept people. I am talking about Jose Flores the owner of "AEG, INC" and John Linares the public adjustor. We hired them as our public adjuster and roof contractor back in Aug 2017. Our insurance issued a check and they were quickly to cash in Oct 2017.
  Billy Sosa the person whom recommended these people who used to live in our building came to with a shingles catalog and pick the shingles to be used. A month later they were going to start the work but never did. It was agreed that the work would start in April due to the cold weather during winter. Once April came, we started calling Jose and we would get runarounds time after time (does not respond to my calls anymore).
  They had 6 months to repair the roof and the insurance would pay the balance upon completion, thankfully the insurance never paid the rest. I called John Linares so many times that I lost count. and I either got an excuse that he would call the claims department and ask for more money because those $5,500 was not nearly enough money to start the work and that other contractors would not even consider doing the work for so little amount. Late June 2018 John ironically had to be out of the country after he promised he would cancel the contract. Oh and read the fine print. They get to keep 30% of the total amount if you cancel the contract.
  Last week I called again and this time the admin assistant would answer the phone telling me she would get in contact with John. No calls back from her either. Last Friday and Saturday 7/6 - 7/7 2018 I called several times and oddly enough the phone was off since it went straight to voicemail.
  Because of this season's rains our roof was now leaking, oh and when I would stress out to John and Jose that this was an emergency they would just say "I am sorry but we will resolve this quickly"
  We hired out of pocket a responsible and well recommended roofing contractor, he mentioned that this situation was appalling to him and that because of this neglect I am lucky the roof did not cave in.
  We are at the point of hiring lawyers to litigate this in court. I cannot stress this enough but DO NOT, DON'T YOU DARE!! hire any of the person's mentioned in this review. They have an A for accreditation? 3 extremely bad reviews and they have an A?

  Worst experience. Within 3 months shingles came off and sat on neighbors roof. Duct vents were ineffective. Had birds living in vent. Paint peeled off in less than 3 months. I keep calling them to fix the issues. They only fixed the roof. After that once they got the money they have been no shows. I'll be reaching out BBB. Also reached out to my insurance company.
