    Install Patio screen enclosure

    After seeing Ron's work on doing 8 screened patios at Tara G&CC, I paid him $1500 on May 22, 2023 as a down payment to screen in my patio. I have not seen or heard from him since despite repeated phone calls. I have requested a full refund. Despite the excellent quality of his work for my neighbors, he has been unreliable and I cannot recommend him.

    Repair car port, siding and lanai screens.

    Ron came to our house early October 2022 shortly after Hurricane Ian. He said he needed a down payment so he could order the materials. He gave us a quote and we gave him a deposit. He cashed our check the following week so we assumed he ordered the material. WRONG. Never heard from him until I called in mid December asking when he would start on our house. He said let me look at my schedule and I’ll get back to you tomorrow. That was on Thursday 12/15. Never heard from him. On Monday I called and left a message. Then someone told me he was on vacation for the week. Now that is hear say but he did not return my call. So the following Monday I called after I asked what he found out about a date he said mid January. So I waited until 1/28 since I had heard nothing. I called again and had to leave a message. I saw him across the street and stopped him and asked when he would get started. Then he told me it’ll be a couple more months. Up to this point I had not been too pi$$ed. But my wife hasn’t been happy about it for a while. I asked him why was he doing the house across the street from me as those people are snow birds and have NOT been here since May of 2022. He said he was trying to get the quick jobs done first to knock them out. Makes ZERO sense to me. I reminded him that we got a quote and gave him a down payment within 2 weeks after Hurricane Ian. And why was he completing all these homes before ours and those people don’t call Florida their full time home. He had no response.

    The following day I called him and left a message asking him to please refund our deposit. I also texted him. No response for two days. I texted him again and request that he acknowledged my request he texted back. “Received” I still had to call two more times. I called nearly a week later and left a message. That same day he stopped by and I was outside he walked up the drive and said “you left me a message what did you need” I responded I would like our deposit back. He went to his truck wrote a check and gave it to me.

    I would NEVER ask this incompetent, unorganized company to build/repair anything of mine.

    Screened lanai construction

    We used this company to build a screened lanai. No complaints with the quality of the job. However, the owner failed to close out the permit when the job was done. It’s now 2 years later, and we need a city permit for another project. We are unable to get that permit because Ron never submitted the completion of the job he did for us 2 years ago. We have contacted him to no avail. It’s very frustrating right now. I would recommend him for the work he does, but hold back your final payment until he finalizes your permit.

    I would happily recommend this company to anyone. They did a fantastic job re-screening the lanai. Affordable and professional.

    Verified Hire

    We would absolutely recommend them. We had difficulty finding a vendor for this job. When we built, we had the option to extend the lanai and did not do it at that time. We put pavers down for an outside patio so we were looking at extending the lanai around the pavers. One contractor would not do it because of the pavers. Another--the contractor that had originally done all of the lanais in our community (Gulfwinds) and also had done additional work on my neighbor's villa--would not return our calls. I talked with the office lady three different times and she was sending our message to the sales man. Over almost two months, he never called us back. I found All American through the internet site that recommends companies for jobs. They followed up right away, gave us a bid and started off. The time it took to get everything done with the county and our HOA took us right up to the Christmas holiday. We were not in a rush and told them to start after the first of the year. The only problem we had was that came in to start when we were not home--at friends for two days. We would have been better able to have them place the dirt/sand that they had to dig up when they trenched. It gave us some extra yard work to rake it out, but in Florida that is no big deal. The work is excellent, the recommendations that the owner made on changing the screen door was a great idea. The job was done within the time they said and for the amount of the quote. We are enjoying our enlarged lanai more than we expected. We would use them again for sure!!
