In 1959 Pete Sr. and Doris Amerson embarked on a journey to provide quality roofing to their community. 53 years later that legacy remains. Pete Sr. left behind hard work, professionalism and quality work were expected of the Amerson Name. Today Pete Sr. is no long with us, however his beloved wife, Doris and eldest son Pete Jr. have seen to it that the Amerson name lives on in the Roofing Industry.

Mrs. Doris plays a vital role in our day-to-day operations. With more than 40 years of office management experience, she is an important part of the business end of the company.

Pete Jr, President of Amerson Roofing, is a 2nd Generation Roofer. Pete Jr started roofing along side his father when he was 13 years old. He left the business at the age of 17 to serve our county. After 2 years in the Army, Pete Jr. returned home to join the family business, to expand his knowledge he decided to study Pr-Architecture at Pensacola Junior Collage (aka Pensacola State College). In 1978, Pete Jr. decided to branch off to another aspect of the Roofing Industry and became a Consultant for Professional Service Industry. After 2 years as a Consultant, Pete Jr. felt as if he was missing the one thing that he loved and that was roofing.

Since 1980 Amerson Roofing has grown into the majestic company you see today. Over the years the company has transformed from primarily business to a nice combination of both to, today, where Commercial Roofing is primary. We have in the past years we have branched out from our home base in Atmore, AL to Pensacola, FL to the most recent office Orange Beach, Al. Making our service area stretch from the Mississippi/Alabama state line to Evergreen, AL to Tallahassee, FL and all the miles in between.

Amerson Roofing Inc. is a respectable Pensacola roofing company that is recognized as a GAF Master. We are approved applicators for several manufactures such as Soprema, GAF, The Garland Company and Tamko. We also are approved installers for American Metal Systems.
