Founded in 1989 by Garry Ard, Ard Contracting Inc. brings more than three decades of expertise to structural and industrial concrete projects in Alabama. Garry Ard holds a civil engineering degree from Auburn University and spent a decade managing large civil and commercial projects before starting the company. In 1991, Jimmy Ard, also a civil engineering graduate of Auburn University, joined as a partner after six years in commercial construction. Based in Birmingham, Ard Contracting serves clients across the region with a focus on industrial and structural concrete, as well as wireless telecommunication construction. The company’s management team averages nearly 20 years of experience in concrete construction, enabling accurate estimates and efficient project delivery. In 2018, Garry and Jimmy Ard were recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama with the Cornerstone Award for their contributions to the construction industry.
