What an amazing piece of workmanship! Jack Barnett and his assistant Tom did an incredible job on our custom, built-in cabinet and bookshelves. The finished product far surpassed our expectations. We described what we wanted and Jack came up with a design that met all of our requirements. We liked his drawings, we like the finished product even better! We would not hesitate to recommend Barnett Woodworks for any cabinetry job.

I called Mr. Barnett, for I wanted to replace my kitchen counter. He returned my call right away; set up an appointment, and brought samples. He had good ideas for making my old counter more updated and the time schedule for completion was appreciated. He and his partner performed all work professionally, paying attention to detail. I'm enjoying my new kitchen.

Jack Barnett came to give me a free estimate of damage to my Formica Laminate countertops where I was renting. He spent a lot of time going the 'extra' mile just to help me find out what really caused the damage that I told my landlords was hard water stains. They accused me of causing irreparable damage, claiming I caused a chemical burn because of whatever was in the glasses I had on the counter when rings first appeared (clearly hard water from dishwashing) I argued that was absurd then they told me I must have used bleach or some harsh chemical cleaners or even the dishwashing liquid I used) They were not going to take responsibility for this and expected me to pay the approx. $2,000 cost of replacement. Jack took his time, called his office for suggestions and he worked with me to figure out what had happened and how he could help me. He absolutely determined the problem was exactly what I knew it was. They lied about what actual counter material was used and over use of many tenants before me the material just kept getting dull and was removing any gloss or protection it may have had (Jack determined it didn't have any). He gave me the peace of mind I needed with my unscrupulous landlords but mainly after taking the time to listen and talk to me about what could be done, I mentioned something that gave him the idea to try using a type of oil. Miraculously it worked instantly and the stains which were very bad and covered a huge part of my dishwashing area were gone and it made the whole laminate shiny and looked totally new. The stains have not returned. SO simple, yet I was really upset by this and was NOT going to be accused of what I knew I had not caused. Jack is the best!!!! So patient, kind, professional and so good at what he does. He was also on time and kept in contact with me before he was to arrive. I recommend him 20 on a scale of 5 stars.
