If you are unfamiliar with Timber framing -it is an old-fashioned way of building. We hand-cut each piece to fit into adjoining beams, use wooden pegs and mortise and tenon joinery. It is the way your grandfather and his grandfather used to build. Those structures are still standing today, guess they knew what they were doing, huh?
