Benchmark Electric

Benchmark Electric, LLC started out in June of 1991 as a small company in Meridian, Idaho doing residential electrical work. During the first year Benchmark Electric averaged approximately $150,000 in electrical contracts. The company soon became recognized as a leader within the electrical industry and began sub-contracting for approximately 10 residential home contractors.

From 1991 to 1996, Benchmark Electric started participating in light commercial work. In 1994 Benchmark Electric entered into the cell phone industry by working with such providers as T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint and AT&T, and continues to work with them regular basis. By the end of 1996, Benchmark Electric was grossing 1 million dollars in contract work.

By 1998 Benchmark Electric acquired its Public Works license, and to this day maintains a AAA rating. From 1998 to 2002 Benchmark Electric did approximately 2 million dollars worth of Public Works contracts.

By 2003 Benchmark Electric had 35 employees with a gross revenue of 3-4 million dollars, and handled contracts as large as 1.5 million. Benchmark Electric has a strong employee base with the average employee working for the company for 10 plus years; having a combined work experience of 170-180 years.

Benchmark Electric, LLC provides custom work for residential homes, whether it is new construction or renovation work, and light industrial and commercial work. We provide home inspections to those in need as a public service. Benchmark Electric strives to be experts in the communication, data cabling, security, high and low voltage as well as fire alarm systems.
