We signed a contract with Dave Staples to add a covered porch to the back of our house. The project started out well but two weeks before Christmas all work stopped. The first week of January we started having leaks from ceiling inside our house. We called Dave Staples. He did NOTHING! My husband had to climb on the roof to cover the places that the sub-contractor had opened to attach the porch. Dave said his wife was very ill. We felt so sorry for him. He finally agreed to hand over the job to another sub-contractor. He promised he would send us back our $10,000 down-payment. He even texted us several times asking if we got it. We are still waiting. Do not trust Dave Staples. BUILDZOOM needs to remove his company from their website.
