My experience with Margarito was absolutely terrible. We recently bought a house and needed help with renovations. Margarito came out to the house, we talked about the projects. Two days later, he sends me an incomplete estimate filled with errors. I ask for the errors to be corrected, a few days later I get another estimate with more errors (non-existent spaces being planned for renovation and added to totals). I ask for it to be corrected, he says it was. I say it wasn't though - I'm looking at your latest estimate and it lists that you are doing remodels to spaces that you don't need to touch. You are listing removal of walls that don't exist. It starts to seem impossible that he can produce an estimate that accurately reflects what we talked about. Finally he sends an accurate list of items we talked about but the totals don't add up. I ask him about it and he ghosts me for 6 days. On day six (after a second reminder to please look and respond to my email), he responds - "I'm so sorry, we are now booked until the end of the year. Sorry I can't help you with your project!". After several weeks of back and forth with Margarito, we have run out of time. He has left us stranded and now NO ONE can start for months because it's the end of the year. His unprofessionalism has now set our renovations back by several months, which means that we won't be able to move into our new house as planned, which means that we need to continue to rent, which is going to cost us thousands of dollars. Maybe it's for the best. I hope that now we can at least find someone who will actually care about our project and who takes some pride in their work.
