BHL Partnership was formed March 25, 1991 by equal partners Gary Bontrager, Steve Hackman and Scott Long through the aquisition of Penns Valley Building Supply and Steve Hackman Builders.
The Building Supply was just 1 year old when it was purchased by BHL Partnership. Penns Valley Building Supply has quadrupled in size to better serve the Penns Valley and greater "Centre Region" area.
Steve Hackman Builders was owned and operated by Steve Hackman before it was aquired by BHL Partnership. Steve Hackman Builders continues to build residential custom homes.
In 2004 BHL Partnership formed a mechanical division named BHL Mechanicals to extend it's operations into HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical.
