    Branden was great from start to finish. We had him paint our home and build us a new patio cover. He was very communicative along the process. The finished project look amazing. I have recommended him to multiple friends and family and they have been equally impressed.

    Horrible follow through on promises. Has too many outside conflicts going on to focus or care about his client. Is a one man contractor so random tatted up "employees" would show up. Would nEVER hire again and regretting that we even started this project.

    To simply outline our position with the owner of this company:
    • BKL was grossly negligent when failing to cap three (3) sprinkler lines prior to pouring the concrete.
    o As a result of the uncapped lines, the water pressure was great enough to create soil/ground expansion & cause the concrete to lift 1.5” above adjacent existing pad in areas surrounding the uncapped lines existed only;
    • BKL neglected to properly compact the dirt or use gravel to assist in the barrier prior to pouring concrete.
    • BKL neglected to anchor the existing pad to the new pad by doweling, thus assisting in the prevention of movement.
    • BKL neglected to use rebar or wire mesh to further prevent concrete movement.

    The bottom line is that if the original job done was NOT completed per concrete industry standard and if the dirt compaction & doweling had been performed, the uncapped water lines might not have caused the concrete to lift. BKL worked under a false license number during the time and continually gave unreliable excuses for his poor workmanship and long awaited replies to our emails. If we could rate a "0" we would.
