By James S.August 2, 2018Install outside door and garage door opener$350
He and his crew came out and did two jobs for us: install an outside door with a doggy door using the already installed door frame, and install a garage door opener. They quoted a very reasonable charge, arrived in on time, did the work, were personable, and did a very good job. With the door, an installation I know to be difficult, there was a little bit of denting to the threshold and having to maneuver to get a good and proper fit as I purchased the door without a frame (didn't know at the time that I was supposed to and the Home Depot rep didn't mention that I should). With the garage door opener, there was no problem with the installation. Will use again a future project!

This husband and wife business was recommended by the Home Depot on Culebra Road. We used this couple to hang a sliding glass door that we had purchased from Home Depot. The couple was scheduled to arrive at 9:00 AM, but did not reach our house until approximately 10:45-11:00 AM. When they arrived, they had the door but none of the materials needed for the outside trim and inside trim. So, they sent my husband to Home Depot to pick up the trim for the door. My husband, who was unclear of what to purchase at Home Depot - cause the couple could not agree on which materials to buy - reluctantly went to Home Depot to purchase the necessary trim. After about an hour and a half, my husband arrived at home with the trim he had purchased - well he had purchased the wrong trim. The couple went on and on about how he shouldn't have purchased that trim, that it needed to be this other trim - well they failed to EFFECTIVELY communicate that to my husband. Well, the door was hung without the necessary outside trim - the inside trim was simply reused. Before the couple left - 4 hours later - they agreed to finish the job by coming out the following Saturday to hang the trim. They agreed to purchase the trim and we agreed to reimburse them. As Saturday drew closer, we contacted them to confirm the job for Saturday. Well, the wife said that we needed to pick the trim and have it ready for them to install. Well we hadn't purchased the trim because they had agreed to do it so that the right trim would be purchased. Well, we agreed to purchase the trim - again - and they agreed to come by Wednesday to put the trim up on the outside. Well they never came, nor do they respond to our texts to schedule an alternate time to do the trim. When we paid them for the job on the day that they hung the door, they agreed to complete the job, without an additional cost since the job was unfinished when they left on that Monday. The agreement was that they would come back to hang the trim - if we had the necessary tools we would have done the job ourselves. It has been two weeks and the trim is still sitting in my house leaning against the wall. We have repeatedly tried to contact Bradley's Windows and Doors, but with no success. I do not recommend that you use this company unless you want: your requests for a call to go ignored; to pay for a job that goes unfinished; to run to the hardware store to pick up the materials THEY are going to need to complete the job; and unprofessionalism. It has been a nightmare dealing with this couple and if you are looking for someone to do your handyman work around the house, steer away from Bradley's Windows and Doors.

Just as one the Reviewers below, I called Home Depot for a Handyman/Contractor, later I received a call from Bradley's Window & Door. In my opinion, the quality of their work was not that good as opposed to some of the other reviews. I was assuming and relying that they would do the job right, I didn't supervised them or steadily stayed outside in checking their work because of some of their reviews on the internet reviews (didn't read all of them). Towards the end, the job was done like if they were in a hurry to finish up my 8' x 12' Storage Shed because it was late and already getting dark outside. Instead of coming back the following day to finish up, they said that they were finished. If they had other scheduled work for the following day, then they should have shown up earlier or planned it better. They showed up with their teenage son and daughter, not sure why, but their son was helped out some, did some work on the air nail gun on the walls and roof, as well as some of the labor work.
I told them that I would go over the shed the following day because I couldn't see the work because of darkness when they finished, and Jennifer and Nathan said ok. I called the following day in regards to some issues like the caulking that they didn't do and she told me that the caulking is done when you paint the shed. I also mentioned about the other things that needed some cosmetic and corrections, she seemed like she wasn't interested in doing that.
The Instructions specifically states that the caulking on the windows and vents need to be done prior to installing them. She disagreed, which basically tells me that they just didn't want to come back and that they don't stand behind their work, unfortunately I found that out the afterwards.
The roof shingles were installed shitty (excuse my french), in fact their son did some or the majority of the shingle work or finished it up (I saw him on the roof), the shingles edging weren't even trimmed decent, all uneven. The shingles also weren't even aligned properly and/or over lapped evenly, on one end of the ridge cap there were 3 or 4 pieces of shingles on top of each other instead a single layer, and on one of the shingles they drove a nail through the top of the shingle, several shingles weren't nailed down flat (bumpy). Gaps in the walls, especially in the corners they were big gaps from 1 and longer. They used 2-inch nails on a half inch front wall around the windows, and barrel hinges for the doors which I ended up trimming them down to prevent someone getting cut or hurt, and they missed way too many of the walls 2 x 4 support frames (studs) with the nail gun.
I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, my impression of them was that they didn't take no pride in their workmanship. I did called and gave them an opportunity to come back to make the necessary corrections and/or adjustments, but to no avail. The lack of quality of their work did not impressed me at all, and it seems like that they do not stand behind their work, or would return back to the customer's satisfaction.
