    Electrical rewiring of two flat/heating and air

    Disaster/Never Hire Branko Construction

    I do not recommend this contractor at all. I hired him for electrical rewiring a two flat and heating and air conditioning. It took him ten months before he was anywhere near finished and the job was still not correct. The outlet boxes were not placed to allow for half inch drywall placement which we went round and round about from the beginning of the job. He had to change some boxes out and he cut big holes in the drywall to fit the new box size and then sprayed insulation to cover the gap and told me I could plaster over that. He even cut out gas lines that I never contracted with him to do. He was a disaster! NEVER, NEVER hire him. I filed a complaint with the Business and Consumer Affairs Division he was so bad. It was almost as if he did this on purpose.

    Kim's project was 1st & 2nd floor only. We ended up doing the basement, front stairs, side yard lighting, and back porch electrical work for free. She changed drywall depth several times and made us install all trim on walls without drywall. She changed her kitchen layout 4 times, each time we re-wired for new design( free of charge). That's why we were there 10 months and as of now she still is not done and we have installed finished outlets and fixtures and switches on walls without drywall!!! City of Chicago electrical inspector passed all of our wiring throughout entire building and was amazed at finished trim installed on open walls. And Kim says she is a General Contractor. Look at all my projects listed in this web site, I do quality work and pass inspections with all necessary permits. I have been doing this for 30 years and every so often I run across a psycho customer( sorry but that's the best description) that God could not make happy!
