History

Buestad Construction, Inc. is a family-owned, non-union, general contracting firm maintaining a class B contractor's license. Based in Alameda, California, it was founded in 1948 by the late John H. Buestad who, like his father, Christian Tonnes Buestad was also a builder. In 1982 after his father’s retirement, John C Buestad took the helm and continues today in that capacity. John’s son Christian is continuing the family tradition and works in the firm as a Project Manager. For over sixty five years Buestad Construction has strived to provide quality construction services in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Our goal is to increase sales by consistently delivering value and quality in every project that we work on which is why Forty-five percent of our work is performed for repeat clients and referrals from existing or past clients.
