Gerald Hatton has grown up in this business, literally. Originally from Birmingham, Gerald was raised in Columbia SC. Gerald began his building career at age eleven, yes eleven. His humble beginnings of pushing a wheel barrow on a job site soon led him to framing houses. At age 16, Gerald began running his own framing crew as well as installing hardwood flooring, building cabinets, and installing trim for many builders in South Carolina. At age 18, he built his first house and had the opportunity to build high quality docks on Lake Murray with his brother. Gerald attended Auburn University's building science program on a Presidential Building Science Scholarship.
After all of these opportunities and experiences, Birmingham called him back. Over the past ten years, Gerald has remodeled many homes and built over two hundred new homes in the Birmingham area.
His experience, professionalism, and enthusiasm are a vital part of Building Concepts LLC.
