After 75 years as a family-owned company, we have transitioned to an employee-owned company. We are very proud that 80% of our business is from negotiated contracts, predominantly with repeat clients. This demonstrates our ability to continually service and meet our clients’ needs and budgets. Along with competitive prices, we have cultivated a reputation of providing high quality work. Our reputation is based on two fundamentals. The first is for our company to meet or exceed our customer’s needs and expectations through high quality and on time projects. Our second fundamental is to continually improve upon our methods of meeting our customers needs and expectations.

Our workforce is highly experienced with a well-trained field staff. Our President, Wayne Woods, received the “Project Manager of the Year” award from the Associated General Contractors of Tennessee’s Tri-Cities Branch suppliers and subcontractors for 9 years. In addition several of our superintendents have received ” Superintendent of the Year” award from the Associated General Contractors of Tennessee’s Tri-Cities Branch. We keep this high level of workforce by continually using skill training programs, skill certification programs, safety programs, and substance abuse programs. Our 2020 experience modification factor of 0.81 is evidence that we take the safety of our work areas seriously. We work to build lasting relationships based upon quality and responsive services.

Our company is a firm believer in giving back to the local community not only through monetary gifts, but personal time as well. We are active with the United Way, Dawn of Hope, Salvation Army, Ballad Health, First TN Development District, Make-A-Wish, AGC Angel Tree, AGC Educational Research Foundation, AGC Scholarship Fund, Washington County Teacher of the Year, Washington County Economic Development, Career Quest, and March of Dimes. We are also active in the local Associated General Contractor’s Branch. Officers in our company have and currently do serve in elected positions for the local AGC branch and the state chapter.
