Jim and his team made the process so easy. We hired Cadillac Tile to do our master bath. From start to finish Jim and his crew did an excellent job and cleaned up every day at the end of the day. Less than 3 week for s full master bath renovation! Fantastic. Jim had a lot of good ideas and was always looking to save me a few bucks by recycling some components without sacrificing quality.

We purchased a Casita in Westbrook Village. I contacted Jim to quote the remodeling and he was great! Very personable and knowledgeable and was a great help in deciding what was the best route to accomplish what we wanted. He handled every aspect of the job and at times, because we live in another state, went above and beyond! His quotes were right on and payment was made when the job was finished. After purchasing a house from a different state, I looked for a contractor who could make my new home handicapped accessible so that we could move in. Jim was able to help me build the bathroom of our dreams and do it within our budget. Even though I was 2,500 miles away, Jim made me feel like I was right there with him through the design, distraction, and rebuild. I was able to see the daily progress and be a part of every decision. He showed great respect with the house and keeping it clean while working in one area. Jim did an amazing job remodeling our master bathroom ten years ago. We had some concerns recently so Jim came over to check things out. Everything was fine and he refreshed the grout. Our bathroom looks brand new! We absolutely recommend him and the long lasting quality of his work.

Mr.Jim came into our lives roughly two years ago I would see Mr. Jim drive by almost everyday or in my Neighborhood for about a year before I called and spoke with him. I looked him up and read his reviews and began the process to begin remodeling my two outdated bathrooms. Our remodeling began with a new AC unit and duct work remodication and removal and elementaing the soffit in both our bathrooms. Next began the old masterbath renovation and renewal and in a week an amazing transformation occured. Mr. Jim is an artist and created a beautiful modern bathroom that left no remnant of the past. Mr. Jim then returned to complete the front bathroom into a show piece. Both designs were unique unto themselves and gorgeous. I have known Jim Hood many years. Probably 20+ years ago he did a complete remodel of two bathrooms and kitchen, which also required complete rewire of kitchen. Cadillac Tile did a superb job in converting the tub area in my Master Bath into a beautiful shower area. They also removed my separate stand-up shower unit to prepare that area for a generous sized linen closet.

I approached Jim when he was doing other work in my neighborhood. After seeing that work and listening to that customer I was certain I wanted Jim to handle my job. His estimate was competitive with others and he did not require any payment up front.

Jim knows design and I went with several of the style elements he recommended and I'm happy I did. I wasn't sure I needed a cove for shampoo, etc. but Jim convinced me of the merits of it and it really enhances the looks of the shower as well. I have been using the shower for a month now and couldn't be happier with the way everything works. Jim is a perfectionist in his work and the final product shows it. Every job has adjustments due to flaws in the original home construction and Jim adapted to those very well.

I designed most of the interior and exterior renovations in a north Phoenix home that was purchased 'as is,' which meant NOTHING was done correctly or up to code. Throughout the various phases of the renovations, I'd worked with multiple contractors; Jim was in the top two of those hired.
Jim was so impressive upon our first meeting that we hired him for not only the bathroom remodel, but for the garage repair, garage door replacement, laundry refit, exterior repair and exterior painting jobs as well.

As it happens in older homes, several issues with electrical and the tub drain were discovered, and corrected efficiently while staying within budget and timeline. Turned out beautiful.

Cadillac has been used around our neighborhood! I had them replace our kids shower and they absolutely love it. They are so happy we got it done. Jim was great to work with! I will have him help when I update my other bathrooms.

We just had our kitchen remodeled and Jim Hood installed our glass tile, under and over head cabinet lights and a fan. Wish I had known about Jim before starting our project. We had another company paint the cabinets and put in the quartz counter but if I had met Jim first, we would have hired him to do the entire project. While the other contractors were fine, they did not clean up afterward and weren't as careful as Cadillac Tile. Because we were putting in a glass tile it was important for the contractor to have a glass saw which many of the contractors out there don't and that is how we contacted Cadillac tile. Next year we are going to be doing a bathroom and a media wall and we have already decided Cadillac Tile is doing the projects.

Jim converted our 1990s gold trimmed/blue carpeted/tub/shower MBR suite into a refreshing walk in shower/new vanity/new closet doors/new flooring throughout and added new lights and paint. He didn't expect any payment until after project was done. He and his crew did some extra work in a hall bath, taking out virtually anything with gold trim and replacing them with more contemporary fixtures and they replaced 3 ceiling fans all for a reasonable price.

Cadillac Tile did a complete interior remodel of our home which included a complete redesign and remodel of two bathrooms, all new flooring, new and refurbished cabinets, and painting the complete interior of the house. This was our second project done by Jim Hood and Cadillac Tile. Our first was a guest bath shower. This time was our master bath. As with our first project, Jim far exceeded our expectations. We found Jim through his distinctive track and trailer when he was working on a job in the neighborhood. We ended up doing a complete house remodel with Jim and his partner Granite Depot. Floors throughout the entire house, kitchen and bathroom countertops, cabinets refinished in the kitchen and bathrooms, baseboards, door hardware, bathroom hardware, rebuild the master shower and paint the entire house. Everything ran on schedule and we even managed to live in one half of the house while the did the other side - and then we flipped. All the crews were as clean and careful as they could be during the construction and very considerate as they worked while we were in the house.

Several years ago we had our master bath completely upgraded: walk-in shower, marble-topped cabinets, fixtures. A full gutting and renovation.
Jim Hood proved to be, not only a master craftsman, but an artful and imaginative price-conscience designer. A full participant in what and how; an enthusiastic and prompt implementer of owner decisions. On time; within budget.

To top it off: ... A few weeks ago, while we were preparing to downsize, a building inspector found a leak in the shower pan. ... Panic call! ... "I'll be right over."
Turns out the water-proofing membrane had a slight tear consequent to some house settlement. When I commented that I couldn't find the repair either in the shower or the wall of the adjacent master bedroom Jim's simple response, "That's the idea, isn't it?'

Further, and for a second "Thank you!", he arranged with associated contractors for all the house staging: floors, walls, garage. Even some plumbing and electrical. All nicely done.

But we want to also address the professionalism and cleanliness of the job. We dreaded the thought of a renovation and the disruption to our home. Jim completed the job in just 6 1/2 days but most importantly, the area in our bedroom and Arizona room were covered each day to minimize the mess. Jim and his employee kept the mess to a minimum in the affected areas. The additional service of the "white glove cleaning" after the project was completed was an unexpected and appreciated surprise!

We hired Jim back in April, 2017, to take out our original shower/tub unit in the master bath, install new vanity, counter top and sink, walk-in tile shower in the master bath. Also they replaced the counter top and sink in the guest bath.

Jim, Mitch, Christian and Aaron were all very professional, courteous, friendly and answered all our questions which put us at ease.

Jim offered many suggestions which made our decision making easy.

Every day when they left, they cleaned up and briefed us about what was done and what was next. They were there when they said they would be.

We could not be happier with the finished project and have been enjoying our new shower since the end of April.

We recently had Jim remodel the master bath and the guest room bath in our home and could not be happier. This was the fourth time Jim has done work for us and every time he makes the process easy for us. We worked with Jim to pick out the material and fixtures and then we left town for a few weeks and let him do his magic. A few emails and text messages during our absence kept us in touch and when we returned we were amazed at the transformation. We had an idea of what it would look like but Jim's knowledge and creativity put the project over the top.

Based on recommendations from several friends, we hired Jim Hood to to put in new tile, baseboards, and remodel two bathrooms. His suggestion for our situation was to tile over the old tile and we couldn't be happier with the result. The bathrooms turned out great and, also based on his suggestions he upgraded 20+ can lights to LED and refinished our old fashioned looking door hardware to a modern look. Everything was done very well and topped off with his "white glove" cleanup.
My favorite thing about this project (we had been putting it off for several years) was that we had the confidence to hand him a house key and head to our summer home. They moved furniture, protected all our possessions appropriately and when I returned for the final inspections everything looked great! You know he is going to a great job when he tells you up front that he doesn't get paid anything until the job is done and you are satisfied.

Oh, how do I begin to explain how much I appreciate Jim Hood and Cadillac Tile? After a horrible experience with a "handyman" who assured me he could tile a simple guest bath shower, I called Jim Hood who actually answered his phone, to my surprise, and came to our house the next day for a bid. He returned two days later with his crew, demo'd our disaster and turned our guest shower into a show piece in 4 days! He accomplished this over the Thanksgiving holiday while we had out-of-town guests, with a minimal amount of disruption. At the end of every day he was there, I was amazed at how he and his crew cleaned up the work site. I could go on and on about our respect for Jim and his talents. We are so looking forward to working with him again on our master bath and other projects! He is a tiling genius and my hero.

Jim and Mitch just finished a small remodel job on our guest bathroom (retiling the tub area and installing new fixtures and lighting) and I can only say that Cadillac Tile is second to none. He gave us one of three bids, was very competitive, completed the remodel of the shower in 4 days and it is beautiful. We just had a guest bathroom remodeled by Jim Hood of Cadillac Tile and are so happy with the finished product. It was a great experience working with Jim. He's very easy to work with, nice and professional. He had some great ideas for us as we really didn't know where to start and worked with our budget while providing quality work. We hired David Schmitt with Cadillac Tile to do multiple jobs at our home here in Arizona. In the beginning things went well. Like in every job there were a few issues but we moved on to the next phase with the hope that these would be taken care of. The last job was the guest bathroom. After that job there were such a large amount of tile left over (12 boxes of 4 tiles per box) but David said that he would find someone to purchase them and with around $500.00 in value sitting there I believed him. The amount of tile that was ordered was the amount that I was told me to order but I had paid directly for them so I am out the money. Now after many months of waiting for him to start the final phase he has quit. So not only am I out the amount from the last job but I had already ordered and paid for the tile for this last job per David's instruction so who knows what will be left over for this job or if enough tiles were ordered. Please do yourself a favor and keep looking.

We had our master bath remodeled in 2011 by Cadillac Tile, and were very pleased with the results. In March 2016 there seemed to be an issue with the floor tile grout in the shower. I called Jim at Cadillac Tile, he came out and resolved the problem to our satisfaction very promptly. Service, even 5 years after the sale, was excellent. I highly recommend them.

Jim and Mitch did an absolutely great job remodeling both our guest and master bathrooms. Since we pretty "visual" people, rather than describing,they physically laid out tiling options for the showers so we could determine which we liked best. Was a great help. Truly love the end result. We recently had someone stay with us and he commented on how wonderful a job Cadillac had done specially compared to his recent re-model. He wishes he had used Cadillac Tile also. They are also very clean. Cover everything and then when the project is done, dust and vacuum and also bring a professional cleaner to again clean. Can't tell you how happy we are.

Cadillac Tile remodeled our bathroom & it is now the best bathroom we have ever had. Jim was able to show us several of his previous bathroom remodeling project including one or two similar to what he proposed for us. His tile work is amazing and his planning, execution and ideas are exceptional. He estimated a two week construction and completed on time in 10 work days, coordinating perfectly with his entire crew. Each night, his crew left our bathroom clean and at the end of the job, it was a real showplace!

Each day, Jim would review his ideas with ours and we would agree on each design choice. We never made a design choice that Jim didn't agree with and we are sure happy that we didn't, as he has the experience to know how the end result will look.

Jim Hood and Cadillac Tile recently remodeled a guest bath and a master bath for us. They did a wonderful job, we are very happy that we chose Jim and Cadillac Tile to do our renovation. Along with new paint and new carpet, we decided to re-tile our entryway, kitchen, and two bathrooms. Our initial contractor provided an estimate that included removing all old tiles, then re-tiling the areas. He advised we would need to move out of the house (with our two cats) for about 3 weeks while the tile work was done!

A friend told us about Jim Hood & Cadillac Tile who had remodeled their master bath, which was gorgeous! We contacted Jim who gave us an estimate for the entire job, including providing TILE ON TILE!! We never heard of this and when we did some research, many contractor websites advised against this method but never gave a reason why. We visited a house in our area in which Jim had completed the tile-on-tile work and it was beautiful The owner of the house said that they had experienced water damage & flooding during the September 2014 storm but incurred absolutely no damage to or moisture problem with the tile work Jim had done. The job (paint, carpet, tile) took about 61/2 days and was professionally well done. (We remained in our home with our cats during the entire period!) Jim not only did the tile work but coordinated timing and the work with the painter and carpet subcontractors so that no one was in each others' way. Jim arrived when he said he would, cleaned up at the end of each day, and delivered the professional quality work that he promised at a reasonable price. Can't ask for more than that!

Jim and his crew are a pleasure to work. He transformed 3 bathrooms ( including a master ) to updated, beautiful rooms. He was extremely helpful with cabinet, granite and tile choices. He even helped me decorate ! I never worried about the quality or honesty he provided. I highly recommend his work.

Cadillac Tile is the best. I have never had remodeling done with such speed, and attention to cleaning up every day. It may be a little or a lot more money, but you get what you pay for and they are perfection. They were more than polite. I loved listening to their music and singing. Felt like dancing. It is very refreshing to feel their honesty and to know you won't need to call someone later to fix mistakes.

My mother (who lives in Sun City) recently used Jim for a kitchen remodel. Jim definitely delivered on his promise of having the kitchen completed before Thanksgiving. He took the stress off of her and the kitchen is simply beautiful. Jim also has a good eye for color as well. As a daughter, we look out to see who comes into mother's home, and all of Jim's workers were professional, neat and clean.

We did not know ,Jim and his team did carpet work as well as just about every thing else that could use some fixin up. I had Cadillac Tile remodel my kitchen in March 2013. It was such a positive experience and the end result is gorgeous. Jim Hood made the project a pleasure by removing all the stress from me. He helped select the granite and chose the backsplash, sink, and faucet when I was overwhelmed . The cabinets were re-faced, but look like totally new. The workmanship is impeccable. The entire job only took about three weeks. Jim is a perfectionist and the attention to detail is remarkable. I am now looking forward to bathroom remodels. I would not consider going with any other company!

Jim and his team have done several large jobs for us. Without exception his work is first class. He is scrupulously neat, detail oriented and professional - everything you would want in a contractor. We saw Jim's beautiful truck in our neighborhood. My husband walked over to where he was working and asked if he could swing by and give us a bid. He was very prompt, polite and gave us a lot of options and ideas to consider. He also gave us the name of two tile companies to check for the kind of tile that we were looking for (and met us there to help). We thought his bid was fair,so, we scheduled the job. We live here part-time, so we entrusted him with our home, while we were away, and he did the job in the time frame discussed, sent pictures of before, during and after, along with reports. We were very impressed with his proffesionalism and need to be completely honest with any forseen problems. When we arrived a couple of months later, we found our floors cleaned, furniture back in place, and he even staged it for final pictures. What a nice man! We are using him for more projects in the future for sure!!!!!
