We did our homework and we vetted several companies. Once we met Captain Harry, we knew that we had the right team. We took one look at his website with all the testimonials (in addition to our family members that recommended him) and I felt 100% trust in his company. I had so many friends that had had their pool done or refurbished and none were able to recommend who they used. Meanwhile, those that used Captain Harry and his team could not have been happier and were quick to recommend him.
I knew it was a big investment but in the end he proved our decision was correct! Not only did he begin to work promptly, but he kept to the schedule (weather permitting). He gave advance notice when arriving to the property which was an added bonus. His professionalism and oversight of his workers was exactly the peace of mind we needed. After the job was completed and PAID we noticed a small problem. This is when they undoubtedly proved we chose the very BEST! Captain Harry looked into the problem until he found the solution. He could’ve abandoned us or not given us priority like most would’ve (after being paid). Instead, he didn’t shake our hand and walk away until he delivered the pool he promised. Harry is a trustworthy guy!
We worked with him for our pool for a pre-construction home. Unfortunately the builder went with someone else at the end. But we had given Harry a cash deposit and he returned it all within days. That is hard to find, especially in Miami. Wish we could have worked with him. He was always in contact with us and accommodating our request for the pool. He has even offered to over see the construction of our pool even if he isn't the one building it. Highly recommend him!

We interviewed and received quotes from 5 different companies to completely remodel our 30 year old pool and ultimately chose Captain Harry from Hi-Tech Pools. We were impressed right from the beginning. Harry is a total professional and uses specialists for each phase of construction. Our 35,000 gallon pool was refinished with a high quality pebble finish which requires extra care during installation. Harry provided a crew of no less than 7 men to insure a perfect finish. He also rebuilt a waterfall, installed a new water slide and completely redid all of the pool equipment. Once the remodel was complete our pool ran more cleanly and efficiently (went from 4 pool pumps to 1) than ever. We look forward to many years enjoying our new pool. Capt. Harry was a pleasure to deal with. He provided a state of the art design drawing in 3D which showed our actual home and how the pool would look before he started. Throughout the construction, he was always on site making sure things ran smooth. He was always on site with the inspectors too! He was always accessible by phone whenever we had questions.
