Our story originates in the Old World city of Cassino, Italy. After World War II, Mario Evangelista, Sr. was one of the craftsmen chosen to restore the bomb-damaged Montecassino Abbey to its full glory. Mario’s careful hands helped complete a successful renovation of the Abbey, a 1,415-year-old structure that is the birthplace of the Benedictine order.

Mario’s values, hard work, attention to detail, and commitment to the finest construction principles were passed on to his son, Mario, Jr.

Since establishing Cassino Building & Development in Sterling Heights, Michigan (the sister city of Cassino, Italy), these timeless skills are applied to each and every project.
