Many years ago we were purchasing a property that the septic system had failed. Before closing the owner had to have it fixed to satisfy the bank. Owner in cahoots with Chad gave to the bank a copy of the bill that said they replaced the line from the septic tank to the "D" box. I have a copy. System failed so we dug it up. Kept digging. PVC pipe did not go to a "D" box but to a piece of drain tile in rocks. In other words, there was no septic system so Chad and the owner from whom we purchased committed fraud to satisfy the lender that the problem was fixed. Now we are probably out $20,000 for a complete new system! Chad and the owner knew there was no "D" (distribution) box. We were defrauded.
