    Randall came to the house and gave us a detailed estimate for the project, which was to add a metal flue pipe for a gas water heater and to fix the chimney damage that resulted from not having the flue for decades, clean the fireplace side, which had an insert in it, fix the damper which was wired shut due to a previously used insert, and fix the chimney crown and add chimney caps.

    Randall was easy going and very knowledgeable and his rate is quite reasonable. The final price was within the range he estimated.

    The work done is very solid. Would give a five star review, but the work is not the best looking. We should have asked him what sort of chimney cap he'd use because the one on the gas flue looks awkward and is a bit crooked.

    Would definitely recommend Chimney Plus for others.
